SBS tracked apc prototype based on AMX-13 VCI/APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) platform.

In general, this light tank had a length of 5.68 meters, 2.77 meters wide and 1.97 meters high. Empty weight of 10 tons and 13 tons of heavy combat reached. As APC, SBS can bring carry 10 troops to complete. To ensure the comfort in the operation, the suspension consists of five small roadwhweel with the drive sprocket at the front and the idler at the rear. SBS driven by a 6-cylinder diesel engine that has a liquid-cooled power of 250 hp with a ratio of 20 hp / tonne. With a capacity of 400 liters of diesel fuel, the tank is capable of speeding up to a maximum speed of 70 km per hour with an operating range of 400 km. For protection, SBS using steel with a thickness of 10 mm.

Small arms industry - Vietnam

Despite having little indigenous products Vietnam is licensing many kind of arms and manufacture them locally. Some of them are AKM, Galil ACE, RPK, PKM, NSV, RPD, AGS-17, MGL B10, SPG-9, RPG-7, and RPG-29 (locally named SCT-29)

The project started in 2014 with FNSS of Turkey and PT. Pindad of Indonesia participating. The conceptual design has been completed and revealed during Indo Defence 2016 in November. The production of the prototype also has been started. FNSS and PT Pindad make up the prime contractors of the project, whose intellectual property rights will be owned by the two countries.

This MMWT will use CT-CV 105HP cannon from CMI, the cannon is able to launch GLATGM Falarick 105 with maximum range of 5 km. It's also equipped with gyro stabilizer, firing control system, auto target locking system, hunter killer system, and identificatin friend or foe. Coaxial weapon is 7.62 mm machine gun and 7.62 mm RCWS. For protection it's equipped with smoke grenade launcher, armor protection standard STANAG 4569 level 4 (can be upgraded to level 5), and NBC protection kit. Total weight of the vehicle is estimated to be 35 tons.

Main function of this MMWT is not to directly engage enemy's MBT, but rather to hunt enemy's APC/IFV or logistic vehicles especially in terrain where MBTs would have less mobility. Although MMWT can be tasked against MBTs in specific scenarios, such as mobile screening operations, flank attacks, ambush attacks, emergency delaying operations and support of friendly MBTs.

Dynamic testing this time is ground to ground by using some type of charge warhead that is 4 units inert or dummy, 9 units Smoke, 8 sharp unit and telemetry unit 4. Dummy payload and smoke was launched to look at the point of falling, sharp payload was launched as a depiction of conditions realroket R-Han 122B to be produced and used for the user, and the payload telemetry is used to determine the trajectory rockets. From the test results, an area falling rocket successfully monitored by observers in the range of 22-23 km to the elevation angle of 30 degrees and a range of 25-26 km to the elevation angle of 50 degrees. This result is considered satisfactory and one of the things that must be done is to maintain consistency in processes and quality in order to produce a design freeze and as expected by the user.

another prototype launcher mounted on top of PT. AIU 6x6 truck

DTI modified Type-85 APC and install its DTI-2 MLRS.

Royal Thai Army has 6 Type-YW306s with 130 mm MLRS in service but the system need to be phased out soon.

In this year of the artillery live firing demonstration, RTA unveils the modified Type-85 APC with DTI-2 launcher installed. This allow the system to fire the DTI-2 rocket with a range of 40 km and improve commonality with its 4 SR4s MLRS system.

No information on how many system will be modified.

To be honest, the Indonesian defense industries are a role model for us. We still work with small arms and missiles alike, while you have produced frigates and stuff.

Our advantage may lie the Air Force and Air Defense Force, i.e. unified airspace management systems and surveillance radar.

At 4:18 is an advanced IFF system developed by the Military Technology Academy. Not shown is an AESA radar prototype.

air search radar stuff still off limit by my country tech, not many willing to share their expertise. But we had move and testing what we can built like simple artillery locating radar, Surveillance Maritime radar and commercial radar systems....

Artillery locating radar is great, the main obstacle is making it small and compact enough for quick deployment on the field.

Our R&D actually focus on 2D and 3D surveillance radars, both long-range and short-range low-altitude. The publicized models includes VRS-2DM and VRS-M2D systems by Viettel, they're based on P-18M and P-19 radars with digital processing.

Also widely known are RV radar series, a joint project with Belarus, developed from Vostok-E system. RV-01 is Vietnamese designation for the Vostok-E, while RV-02/02CT (CT = Cải Tiến = Modernization/Improvement) is fully developed and manufactured in Vietnam. They're designed to counter stealth aircrafts and missiles, but limited by the 2D surveillance capabilities. The RV-03 adds 3D surveillance and is being tested.

AESA radar is still under development. I expect it to be operational sometimes around 2020.

Our best offer for Air Defense currently is the VQ-1M unified airspace management system, again R&D by Viettel. Its roadmap does point out that VQ-1M and VQ-2 can intergrate maritime forces management. Some tests are being conducted at the moment.

It's all I can tell, aside from classified projects, of course.

Each country develop system that the other still struggling to learn it, considering that there is still blind spot in indonesian airspace, will be good if we can learn radar to vietnam, we need more radar.
Do indonesia restrict weapons export? like restrict not all kind weapon can be exported and not all country can buy it? @madokafc
