So i knew that PayPal isnt a free service but even these 2 are paid? Why not just transfer via bank account using IMPS?
Every bank has that facility!!
And im so glad that our govt launched UPI (United payment interface) that links even ur online wallets with bank account so u can transfer directly without even adding money first to ur wallets.

Are u serious! Paypal alipay and wechat are as easy as any app on ur mobile phone. Who the **** has the time to go to a bank? People go to a bank once to open an account and verifying procedures after that no one pr atleast majority of people in china and west dont go to a bank unless called upon for documentation etc. Banking system atm cheques these are ways of the past. Also it takes 8 working days for bank to bank transfer paypal transfers in 2 minutes even thiugh2 they say 2 business days as a precaution.

There is no competition with paypal except for in chinese market.

If u are talking abiut internet banking then they are the most insecure of all. With browser hacks and all. If u are talkimg about using atm or debt cards they get stolen and hacked and sold pn carding markets for real cheap with ur id and eberything.

Paypal offers complete security and insureance . my friend lost 2000 $ in california to a russian carder online. Because he used his card cvc and number to pay his employees. And his bank just said u didnt opt for extra charges on account so our hands are tied.

While another friend lost 1500$ in hoiston with his card attached to paypal hacked. But he was given full insuramce and 1500$ back once he proved in 2 days that it was indeed a hack amd un authorised use.

So truely there is no competition as yet for paypal. Ot totally depends on them where they go to. I think india and bangladesg got paypal a few years back.

Why the **** would u go to bank to transfer some money? U can use IMPS and NEFT(although NEFT takes 2-3 hours and is possible in only banking hours, but thats why u have IMPS) can also be done on phone using mobile banking app of ur bank on ur phone, It provides all the services even loan application, document verification, address change requests etc.(atleast in india).
And 8 days? Does it take really that long in pakistan? Then Pak needs to overhaul banking system and services.

No they aren't. Every bank uses secured system for online payments through browser. HTTPS and SSL. Plus dual verification during online transfer to other account using login id, payment password and OTP sent to ur registered number.
while making online payments thru cards for ur orders like shopping, theres a whole different interface provided by VISA,mastercard and other companies (billdesk/paytm in case of India in addition to aforementioned) which again are secured using HTTPS and SSL plus again dual verification.
Also i havent carried my card with me since last year for payments coz i generally use paytm for smaller transactions and Samsung pay(i have my card saved in it and it works on every terminal, old or new) for larger amount.
Also if cards get stolen they still need ur pin to withdraw the amount and u can inform the bank to block the card.

Your friend must have been on some shady website, i haven't seen a single case where the amount gets stolen while making online payments. Also its ur responsibility to keep baking details private. If u cant do that then u dont have the right to say the system isnt secure. tomorrow u would say that its easy to steal a car if ur key gets lost. Yeah, NO SHIT!!!

Paypal has been in India for a few years now but i havent seen anyone using it or even uttering its name coz we are very comfortable witht the systems like PAYTM and now with the launch of United Payment Interface by GOI along with apps like BHIM (uses UPI) and now apps like Paytm and Google Pay using that technology its even more easier to transfer money directly between bank accounts (e commerce websites also support this facility).
So no, PayPal has stiff competition and its already lost the battle in India even before it launched.
