Last i checked you have to take oath in front of judge not some politician. Second no one can force you to do any thing in United states be a politician or a policeman as long as you dont break any law

Thing is, the United States responds fairly quickly to acts of violence against minorities and ensures that the criminals get prosecuted. Same can't be said for many countries which have random acts of violence where in many occasions, the criminal gets away, sometimes with just a slap on the wrist.

American citizens do not have to say the Pledge of Allegiance so it doesn't matter.

Guys, please! I just posted today on my blog about using the right terms and knowing the differences between cultures.
America is a land of liberties, no matter if you disagree with some of its "imperialist" moves which I often do.
I meant to answer another thread where someone called the moron that killed 3 Muslim Americans last week a terrorist.

The idea is that calling whomever did this a terrorist is wrong. They are idiots and murderers but by no means terrorists. If so, they would have claims. As for that Republican, she's one of the new breed of Tea Party politicians. Not worth even debating any more than FN in France. Finally, the comments in such pieces are the expression of the worst in a population, be it in US, Fr, Pak or India. I agree with ozzy22 that the answers from the Quba center is a magnificent bit of tolerance when confronted to such morons.

Still, using a term like Christian nations shows as little understanding of the US and the West at large as that of the idiotic Republican whom likely never visited a Muslim nation. Fact, as explained in my post of the day ( 16th by my time ), the First Amendment forbids laws to be passed based on a religion, any religion, even Christianity.
