As Food Prices Spike, Azerbaijanis Endure Border Chaos To Shop In Iran

.
@Chinese-Dragon
After what Azerbaijan did here:

'Azerbaijan granted Israel access to air bases on Iran border'

Iran should lock them out, and not allow them to benefit from the much stronger Iranian economy.

Well, Azerbaijan should do whatever they think it's best for them, they wont ask Iran nor China so cooldown and go make me a Noodles now.

. .
oh, racism from Turks, what else is new

Continue your hostilities against Turks/turkic peoples, you can expect even more and different kind of measures against you. For instance blocking your entrance to middle-east is one of those longterm-measurments in future.

The only hostility here, is from you people against us "noodle eating" Chinese. :lol:

Let's not go down the path of food-related racist insults any further, maybe you can start to talk about the thread topic.

Geez.

Azerbaijani currency are even stronger than USD, that's why you can buy aloooot more with your money in Iran than in Azerbaijan with manat. Obviously this here only applies to border towns...

BTW, per.capita income are higher in Azerbaijan than Iran and certainly even more so in capital Baku city.

I mean you should just look at the source and their other articles...

@Abii

What's your Iranians problem with the Azeris, why don't you leave those people alone?

Making fun of poor starving people, really something to be proud of isnt it?
Are you kiding?
What is your problem?

They just come in Iran to buy some products which are cheaper in Iran. There is really no big deal.

.
Yes but it's because Azerbaijani currency are so much stronger than Iranian one, it's even stronger than USD. That's why you can buy alot more.

Of course no one will die but I understand that some people can suffer a bit, they can just buy alot more in Iran and like said this only applies to border towns.

Here's Iran

Nov 17th 2011 | from The World In 2012 print edition

GDP growth: 2.2%
GDP: $540bn (PPP: $976bn)
Inflation: 16.5%
Population: 76.8m
GDP per head: $7,040 (PPP: $12,720)

The world in figures: Countries: Iran | The Economist

Now give me Azarbaijans PPP per capita. Make sure you give me PPP because that's what matters for measuring the real value of 1 US dollar in an economy.

Even if it's higher or lower by a few hundred dollars, it matters very little. What matters is that food is affordable in Iran, while it's not affordable in the country you claim to have higher standards of living than Iran. There are a lot of South American countries which use the US dollar or have their currency pegged to the US dollar. I guess they have better standards of living than other ones in the region because of that? lol that's basically what you're saying and it doesn't make any ******* sense.

.
It's because wages in Baku city are much higher compared to towns. I said it and I will say again, Baku city indeed has higher standards of living. The city itself has turned into a huge construction site, it's because overall population have become richer.

When did I say such a thing you nutjob? I said because of Manat's value, you can buy alot more in Iran, as Manat is alot stronger than Iranian currency, so your monet are worth alot more.

And don't show me your lack of knowledge, Azerbaijan are using it's own currency, I would like to see these countries use their own currency and see how it goes.
