Arunachal Pradesh disputed area; India should do more to maintain peace: China

Why does china need more territory ?

That too from all it's neighbours,.

. . .
Its not 1962....you need to wake up...you light tank legion will lit up like Diwali fireworks.....then you will retaliate..the India will ..then all hell breaks loose.....Not possible chief!
you are damn right it is not 1962, at that time we had roughly the same GDP with india, now we are 5 times more than it. also we didn't have access to the border then but now we have the world-class infrastructure in that area. Do the equation yourself. be careful not to bring your new god modi here, we don't buy him.

Then WTF is China doing in Pak Occupied Kashmir which is considered a disputed area? They have 11,000 PLA and civilians busy developing infrastructure there to link up with Gwadar.

What's sauce for the goose should be sauce for the gander, right?

China claims Arunachal Pradesh as southern Tibet.
Really? High time India starts claiming Tibet as part of North India! And Xinjiang as an independent state.

You really think a full fledged war between India and China is a possibility?...If you are so strong as compared to India now....whats stopping you...who loses more if there is a war?...Equation done.

.
the message is clear. if you modi continue to proceed, there is no peace. next time is our light tank legion and gift for independece of northeast of india.
Really??
You have no idea what you are dealing with.

Actually only 4 or 5 posts is enough for the border is long range mountain with equal number breaches.
Airborne is the only way of large scale offensive.

This tractor offensive in PDF not gonna change the reality that CCP would think twice before such an adventure.

The British playing their usualy BS games.

A localized war aimed at obtaining certain objectives is quite possible. On top of that, the whole notion of full fledged war is outdated nowadays. Non state actors are used to weaken and exploit loopholes in defence. Economics is used to become richer and gain concessions. Media perception is huge in this day and age, China and the world is using it correctly. India doesn't. When this has reached a critical level, then full war may be used to directly challenge other nations deemed stronger.

That or unless you go for a first strike, full nuclear attack taking out your opponent's capabilities. We are forgetting the most important factor which is tech which allows for plans and strategies to change overnight.

All garbage. China will claim everything is disputed. A chinese general even laid claim to part of the artic. AP is as disputed as Hong Kong or Macau is.

No moron, do the equation ur self. If China is powerfull, why the roads to nowhere?
FACT: India is closer to the border to Tibet, Lhasa is closer to Dehli than Beijing to Lhasa! Interesting...
India has a lot more airfields near the border compared to China.
1987 China managed to deploy 8 divisions to NEFA...in contrast with out trying India deployment 10 Divisions, with heavy arty...
you do the math. If China believes NE india is its...why did China pull out in 1962? and then in 1987 allow India to have Arunchal Pradesh (South Tibet) join Indian parliament?
Fact is that India holds the geographicall advantage. Tibet is China's too loose, not Indias.
You can not deploy your full force to Tibet, thats why the Indian army is more effective exclude 1962 if you do more reading.
Only option avlaiable to China is to support Pakistan to open another front. At most China can only stretch out 100 thousand PLA accross this barren land. India, double that.

Beijing: China's military Thursday expressed concern over India's plan to construct 54 new border posts in Arunachal Pradesh, saying India should not complicate the situation and do more to maintain peace as it is a "disputed area".

"We have noticed relevant report. Dispute still exists in the eastern part of China-India border," Defence Ministry Spokesman Yang Yujin told a media briefing here when asked a question on the plans announced by the Home Ministry to build 54 new border posts along the Arunachal Pradesh border.

"We urge the Indian side to do more to maintain peace and stability in the area and not do things that may complicate the situation," he said.

Asked why China is wary of India's development of infrastructure along the border when it has carried out extensive development on its side, Yang said, "I think that the roads you are talking about are in the eastern part of the China-India border which is still a disputed area."

"China's position on the dispute in this area is clear and consistent," he said.

China claims Arunachal Pradesh as southern Tibet.

"It is an important consensus reached by the two sides to maintain peace and stability along the Line of Actual Control and both sides should do more towards converging direction rather than contrary," he said.

Indian government last week announced setting up of 54 new border outposts and a Rs 175 crore package for beefing up the infrastructure along the border in Arunachal Pradesh.

Arunachal will see repeat of Kargil, warns minister

Old Commie philosophy of 'What is mine is mine, what is yours is disputed' or as someone said a few years back, 'Wherever a Han sat, shat or spat in the past 2,000 years has suddenly become an inalienable part of China'. Always good for a laugh.
