Nothing new actually. In many central Asian countries and western provinces of Pakistan (Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkwa) people cook the whole lamb in these kind of ovens (tanoor). Watch this video 00:15 onwards to see how people cook meat in Balochistan, a western province of Pakistan.

We have similar food culture also. We have learned that tandoor :) is very old food culture. This is nice!

Actually Very few animals remained in Turkey. We have exported and ate all of them :D just know 1 kg meat is 18+- USD of cattle and sheep. We can't eating many eat as before :( usually we are eating chicken at the last times.

I heared 1 kg meat is 1,5 USD in central asia i must go there. :cheesy:
