Army worried over country’s situation: Musharraf

And now what? The likes of Raymond Davis are killing our people. Drones are bombarding our people. Our factories are being burned to the ground.

People are not getting electricity, gas, or petrol. At least 20 to 30 people die daily.

To hell with democracy.

We need the military. We want the military.

^^^ a Paka zaid hamid fan!!!

Well I support Sir Musharraf. But also support IK. And hoping that in next elections some real changes happens. We need to move forward and democracy is the way forward. We just have to vote in the right candidates, not the same old corrupt candidates that our fathers and uncles have been voting for a long time.

oo mere bhai is this even a democracy, try to prove me how the dynastic rule of nawaz and bhutto(oh sorry jye bhutto) fits the definition of democracy

1) there is election rigging

2) the votes are bought

3)there is no merit or democratic system in the leading parties

4) people vote same sardar again and again and there is very little understanding of the right of vote because of illeteracy

5) there is no local body system which is essential for democracy

6) there is no opinion of common pakistanis taken as important when state decisions are made

7) most of decisions made by democratic govt doesnt represent pakistan in any way

8) there is corruption for which there is no accountability

9) the same corrupt politicians are electables again and again, no stoppage of corrupt people
For a moment I thought you were talking about India! :cheesy: We're in the same boat and it's sinking fast unless there is a radical change in the mindset of our corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

We need Statesmen of caliber on both sides to turn things over, but I guess that's wishing for too much.....

“Pakistan today is at risk and sadly not a reflection of the vision of our beloved founder, who aspired to see Pakistan as a plural society living in peace, harmony and prosperity,” Musharraf said in his message on his Facebook page.
“There is much that is right with Pakistan that can easily undo what is wrong with Pakistan, but only if we show resolve and unity...
He had his chance, didn't he? What excuse does he have for not accomplishing "easy" things in his years of power?

Hey shlomo you know that it not depend on only one man to make any change in any country ! it needs people who accept the changes.

He failed because many do not want see Pakistan make progress and who did everthing to not let him make changes !

You know that better anyone here and there.
