Army helicopter crashes at airbase in Bareilly, 3 killed | Zee News

Bareilly: An Indian Army helicopter crashed at an airbase in Bareilly on Wednesday, killing three officers onboard.

The pilot, co-pilot and an engineer died in the crash which took place at around 8 am in Nakatiya, a rural area of Bareilly.

Officials said the chopper caught fire soon after take off and crashed. Fire tenders were rushed, but no one could be saved.

According to sources, the helicopter was on a routine flight.

The chopper is a Cheetah helicopter.
