I did same old Al Zarrar. What was so special ? In fact I think some sort of armored vehicles are also being produced. Other then Muhafiz and the ones produced by HIT. Some new MRAP type thing was in production
COAS visited various facilities of HIT and witnessed recently developed enhanced protection solutions and remote weapon systems for tanks, indigenously developed 155 mm Artillery gun barrel, ballistic / IED protection of military vehicles and manufacturing, rebuild and upgradation of tanks and Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs). COAS witnessed on-going Research & Development projects and lauded the efforts of HIT to attain self-reliance through indigenisation in modern technologies of Tanks, Artillery Guns and ballistic protection solutions for vehicles.
All off the shelf, however we may see some of its parts produced later under ToT for use on AK.Will Pakistan assemble or co-develope any of the VT-4s or are they all going to be off-the-shelf imports?
We’ve seen that before, it’s Turret Composite array for Type 85UG (it may be the same as the original AK or different, but It does see, that they have changed it for UG over standard Type 85)
Check out the other thread that was made about thisToday COAS visited heavy industries taxilla in this video by ISPR we can see armor of Al Khalid turret armor open and some information about Al- Zarrar. This is my first post so if its in the wrong category then sorry.

What dose it mean by old T-59 casted turret with reshaping plates? Dose this imply that Al zarrar is just old T-59 with some new metal plates attached to its turret?
