What is different in his talk?

Asim muneer said.

“The surge in terrorism in recent past is a futile effort on the part of terrorists to get the talks re-initiated, however, there is no option for these terrorists except to submit to the writ of state of Pakistan before they are decimated, if they persist on their wrong path,”.

Here complete excerpt from dawn.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Monday said the “involvement of Afghan nationals” in terrorism incidents in Pakistan was “detrimental to regional peace [and] stability”.

The army chief’s remarks came days after the Foreign Office confirmed the involvement of Afghan terrorists in the last month’s Zhob cantonment attack.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) today said that Gen Munir addressed the incident during a visit to the Martyrs’ Memorial at Bala Hisar Fort in Peshawar, where he met tribal elders from Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as notables from all walks of life.

“The involvement of Afghan nationals in terrorist incidents in Pakistan is detrimental to regional peace, stability and deviation from the Doha Peace Agreement by the interim Afghan government,” he is quoted as saying.

The agreement was signed in Qatar between the US and Afghan Taliban in February 2020 to bring an end to the 2001–2021 war in Afghanistan. The agreement ultimately led to the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan on Aug 15, 2021 following two decades of occupation.

The army chief paid rich tribute to the sacrifices of the “brave and resilient tribals of Pakistan” and laid a floral wreath. He also appreciated their “indomitable resolve for standing shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in defeating [the] menace of terrorism”.

Expressing concerns over the “sanctuaries available to banned outfits and [the] liberty of action they enjoy on Afghan soil”, Gen Munir vowed, “Pakistan will spare no effort to dismantle terrorist networks and protect its citizens at all costs.”

The ISPR statement further quoted the COAS as saying: “With the unflinching resolve of the nation, Pakistan is successfully countering terrorism to enable a stable and peaceful environment for socioeconomic development in the area”.

It added that tribal elders assured the armed forces that the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its ideology will “never be acceptable to any tribe and they will continue to stand with the state during the thick and thin”.

COAS emphasised the potential of Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) and on going efforts in uplifting the socio-economic growth under the umbrella of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The army chief also said that “KPK province is blessed with huge reserves of Mines & Minerals, also beautiful areas for tourism which will certainly change the destiny of the area for the good of the people.”

“Pak Army stands with our tribal brothers and will never leave them alone as over the years they have given innumerable sacrifices for the peace and prosperity of the motherland. It’s time to develop all tribal areas and concentrate on youth” the COAS remarked.

The COAS reiterated the resolve of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and other Law Enforcement Agencies in their fight against terrorism, till elimination of this menace from the country.

“The surge in terrorism in recent past is a futile effort on the part of terrorists to get the talks re-initiated, however, there is no option for these terrorists except to submit to the writ of state of Pakistan before they are decimated, if they persist on their wrong path,” he said.

Gen Munir reiterated that “propaganda by inimical forces” against the armed forces of Pakistan, will be dealt as per the Law.

Paying tribute to brave tribesmen, officers & soldiers of Pak Army, FC, Levies, Khasadars and Police, COAS vowed that sacrifices of Shuhada will not go in vain and complete peace will return to Pakistan, InshaAllah.

The army chief’s remarks also comes a day after Afghanistan’s supreme leader warned Taliban members against carrying out attacks abroad, according to Afghan Defence Minister Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid.

Pakistan has repeatedly raised concerns over the use of Afghan soil by militants for cross-border terrorism.

The country has seen an uptick in terror activities, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, after the outlawed TTP ended its ceasefire with the government in November last year.

Recently, an attack on a military installation in Balochistan’s Zhob Cantt, and another attack on security forces in Balochistan’s Sui resulted in the deaths of 12 soldiers. This marks the military’s highest single-day death toll from terrorist attacks reported this year.

Don't shoot the Messenger.
First determine in your mind, is it correct or not?

Let's say out of 90k surrendered, 35K were active duty.
Did not they throw arms?
Is this picture not hung at Indian GHQ?
Didnt pakistan army refused to own shaheeds of kargil?
now this army has attacked its people all over the country.
This army fallen in greed and lust.
Just count their plots from major onwards to a Lt General? Dozens of plots valuing over billion.
For what service and achievement??
Break law, and constitution, and rule the country except doing the only duty they were raised - defend the country! Not to amass housing societies and protect them and their industrial empire.
Illegal businesses like smuggling of oil products from Iran border and like are not even counted.

Tribals, ex FATA Pastuns were all supporters of Pak Fauj, there was no TTP, it all started when the yester-years Mujahideens(locals and Afghans) fighting the Soviets occupation and finally defeating them, suddenly with a push of a US button(read push of dollars) turned into Terrorists when the US invaded Afghanistan after 9/11 and started the WOT.

So how is this possible that Mujahideens, the holy freedom fighters as the US media reported, turned into Terrorists overnight, and how can the Talibans(ex Mujahideens) can be called terrorists by US forces, and Pak Fauj bending backwards to the US clout and pressure and of course the US dollars.

When they are Fighting with Soviet occupation forces the fighters are Mujahideens, the holy warriors.

And when they are fighting the US occupation forces they are Terrorists, nobody would buy this lopsided wrong analogy.

So the fault lies with the wrong decision by the Pak Fauj of entrenching into WOT with US. Pakistan should have remained neutral...

Afghan Taliban Chief Deems Cross-Border Attacks on Pakistan Forbidden or “Haram”

The supreme leader of Afghanistan’s ruling Taliban has labeled cross-border attacks, including those on Pakistan, as “haram” or forbidden under Islam.

Senior Taliban leaders communicated the “diktat” or decree from Hibatullah Akhundzada to Pakistani officials during recent bilateral talks to underscore their determination not to allow anyone to threaten other countries from Afghan soil, highly placed official sources in Islamabad told VOA.

The issue figured prominently during the three-day meetings Asif Durrani, the special representative on Afghanistan, and his delegation held last month with Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, among others, in the capital, Kabul.

The visit took place amid a surge in deadly attacks on Pakistani security forces and civilians, with the outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP, claiming responsibility for plotting much of the violence.

Tribal elders invited terrorists from other countries like Chechnya, Ughyurs, Arabs, North Africans, etc into their home for jihad in Afghanistan.

Those terrorists started killing tribal elders to seize control, and then also wanted to turn their guns against the Pakistan government because it was supposedly a kaffir state.

Don't miss out these details

The so-called Mujahideen were composed of multiple groups. These groups began to fight each other after Soviet withdrawal. One of these became Al-Qaeda Network and was bankrolled by Osama Bin Laden.

Al-Qaeda Network attempted to expand in different countries including Sudan and Saudi Arabia. Both Sudan and Saudi Arabia banned Al-Qaeda Network.

When Afghan Taliban emerged with support of Pakistan in the 1990s to counter unruly Mujahideen groups, Al-Qaeda Network grew close to Afghan Taliban.

Al-Qaeda Network was launching attacks on American embassies and ships. Numerous innocents died in these attacks including the director of The Message movie. Al-Qaeda Network took advantage of relaxed security environment in the US to plot and execute 9/11.

This is why US invaded Afghanistan and dismantled Al-Qaeda Network in the region.

Pakistan Army should have been alert to Al-Qaeda mechanisms in the 1990s but no word on this part.

Mehsud tribe in Waziristan established TTP to protect Al-Qaeda operatives who were flooding FATA due to beatings received from US-led forces in Afghanistan. This is why US launched drone strikes in Waziristan.

Afghan Taliban already had its shuras in Pakistan. These people could launch attacks in Afghanistan and come back to Pakistan to regroup and recover as needed. Some were arrested and monitored, others not so much.

When Pakistan Army launched its operation against TTP, Afghan Taliban provided shelter to TTP in Afghanistan.

All of this is documented and posted.

Pakistan's response in this saga had been mixed and puzzling due to soft corner for the so-called Mujahideen. The outcome is in front of you now.

This is one area in which Imran Khan had a puzzling stand as well. Voters like me are puzzled.

It looks like Pakistan wasn't ready for WoT. There was a lack of national consensus on this matter.

if anyone have an iota of common sense or few brain cells, theyd know that a common tribal elder have no capacity or capability to invite anyone from abroad. They dont have the links or network or the influcence. one must be really really stupid to think that a tribal elder, who hardly commands few hundred to few thousand ppl in his village can call uzbeks, chechens, tajiks, arabs n other terrorists to come and join them, its actually hilarious.
This shows the stupidity of these generals, i mean their excuses are viable for 5th graders only and that is their mental capability. we all know these mofos invited these terrorists themselves and then blame common ppl for it. If anyone have the capacity, capability, network, influence and logistic to invite such terrorists then its these ugly dogs.

They were already present in Afghanistan since the times of the Soviets and stayed behind, after that they crossed into Waziristan and were given permission to stay, the tribes supported them initially in the sense or giving them a refuge or safe place.

It was only till they wanted complete control of the region they started beheading some of the elders and made links with the younger youth by giving them some power.

After this is how the lashkar were supported by Pakistan to fight back because some groups were against this.
