Iran- Pakistan , relation is that of two friendly countries who share a border and we need to expand that relation from economic stand point of view and geographically that we have a Universal stand point on Afghanistan security.
Seems logical that we have discussion about a Iran-Russia-Pakistan gas pipeline project and also from Pakistan-Russia business deal it makes sense as we have a pending Gas Refinery project with Russia
Pakistan/Iran have following Agenda to discuss
- Agreement on timeline for completion for Iran-Pakistan & Russia Gas line
- Discuss purchase of Electricity for Baluchistan Province
- Discussion of Free Trade , and Trade of goods between both nations
- Discussion to find ways to fight the Terrorism emerging in region from Afghanistan
- Possibly find ways to improve Trade between two nations
- We might see Iranian Auto makers invited to sell vehicles in Pakistan. Considering both nations share a border the sale of auto to Pakistan should be simple process
As far as the relation between Iran and general , Middle east , that is a discussion ideal for
OIC forum for all countries to sit down and solve / resolve their differences
Unstable Iran is not in Pakistan's National Interest. Human crisis in Syria/Afghanistan is example how any adjacent country war effects neighbouring country due to influx of refugee etc and thus there is 0% chance that anyone in Pakistan would like to see images we say from Syria happen in Iran
A Iran-Russia-Pakistan gas line project should ensure a strong regional economic bloc in line with SCO goals
