such Amendments will prove very costly for Pakistani State in long term. It would have been much better if instead of extension, the duration of army chief could have been extended from 3 to 4 or 5 years.

What is it to do with boot licking.. Our mentality as a nation is strange, if politicians are in lead for policy making which is their real task, they are boot lickers, if they oppose they are traitors...

A correct decision is taken by the Parliament, in the interest of the country.
India and USA will be unhappy. Watch who else is willing to join these two enemies of Pakistan? Some angry Noon-Leaguis and some analysts who believe people must be shuffled regardless of their need, service and success. I question such people if they change their doctors as frequently just because "date on calendar" asks for it?
Look at Russia where Putin is in power from the last 20 years or so. Is Russia harmed because of his presence or helped?
How about General Sulaimani who Iran had kept years after years after years. Should he have been removed from service just because a year number had reached?
