Armenia’s Constitutional Court issued a ruling on Friday indicating that the country must act on the arrest warrant. Armenia, traditionally a close Russian ally and a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization — an alliance of former Soviet states — signed the ICC treaty, known as the Rome Statute, in 1998 but never ratified it because of a previous Constitutional Court ruling.

Wow Armenia has officially broken away from Russia
The last time they wanted to broken away, the country was fell on the brink of collapse. Armenian public opinion is mixed on this issue, and the russophiles seem to be furious. Let's see what the coming days will bring.

What about the guy who exploded Nord stream gas line?

After the Russians screwed the Armenians, of course, Armenia would choose to disengage with them.

Armenia is likely looking to increase ties with the EU and the US as both are far more reliable partners.

Azerbaijan should take this opportunity to get close to Russia and finish up the conflict with Armenia with Turkish help over Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). One needs to exploit a split in relation to one's benefit.

Putin's expansionist war in Ukraine have put all former Soviet states including Russian allies like Armenia and Kazakhstan into an uneasy position.

While I was completely disappointed by how Putin let the Azeris take so much of Artsakh,it was the Armenians who let a traitor like Pashinyan take power and then tried to take the country closer to NATO and the EU.

Meanwhile the Ukrainians supported the Azeris during the war

We only want land connection to Azerbaijan via Nakhchivan. Iran certainly does not want to. Russia will support whoever is loyal to it. Therefore, I think the decision of the Armenian Constitutional Court is very risky for the future of Armenia.

What the West really wants is this: To create a bridgehead in the Caucasus geography by including Georgia and Armenia together in the EU, without the need for Turkiye. That's why they want the current Armenian administration to stay in power.

What would be Turkiye's reaction to this policy? At best, I'd say it's very skeptical.
