Armata Malfunctioned?

. .
Read the above comments it did not break down.

No, the crew was incompetent. It took them 15 MINUTES to figure out they had the 'emergency brake' on. What a bunch of rubes. Still probably a transmission flaw.

Amazing how you claim it's a transmission problem yet when one of the engineer's/technicians go into the tank it magically is able to drive off, so either he turned off the emergency brake lock or he must be some mechanical guru that managed to repair a transmission in less then 15 minutes without ever touching the transmission

Also if the tank came to a complete stop then then that would indicate the transmission had a catastrophic failure, yet it somehow drove away 15 minutes later...amazing.

It's also evident that it was the breaking system because the armored recovery vehicle would not get the Armata to budge even an inch.

As for the tank driver, he is operating a brand new prototype that he has virtually no experience on. By your account, Abrams drivers must be PHD's at 18 years old:

Notice all of those Abrams accidents appear to be in Iraq meaning the tank crew was fully trained to uber NATO standards before their deployment.

Yeah, those Abrams 'accidents' took place in Iraq, a war zone, not during practice for a parade in Red Square. HAHAHAHAHA !!!!! That must be why we don't see any Russian race car drivers. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!:usflag:

Yea because in a "war zone" experienced Abrams drivers get special exceptions to where they can flip tanks, drive off embankments, drive into swamps, ect and they are considered the best while a driver in the T-14 accidentally flipped the emergency braking system on a tank he has virtually no experience on and that driver is considered 'dumb', god forbit he flipped the T-14....

.
The tank had it's breaks locked for 15 minutes, even the armored recovery vehicle could not get the tank to move even an inch. The tank only drove away after a technician figured out what the driver did.
WHy the hell would you put an inexperienced driver in the most sophisticated prototype one has?

Uralvagozavod wanted to use their experienced test drivers, but last i heard one of Russia's generals dismissed that idea because he did not want guys that were not in the military to participate during the victory day parade. This is also the second time this happened, weeks ago there was a report that a T-14 stalled, one of the people working for Uralvagozavod, probably an engineer, blamed an inexperienced tank driver.

One of the Uralvagozavod engineers claimed that it was "easy" to operate the T-14 but then again engineers think calculus is easy. I am willing to bet that it may be easy to drive but because of the high level of automation, and all the 'bells and whistles' that come with the tank that it has a bunch of buttons, switches, and touch screens. They should have just had experienced Armata drivers operate the tank, i don't know if it is true but someone in another forum said that after the tank came to a stop the driver started to panic so he started flipping different switches which made the problem worse.

It was a mistake, you dont let your nugget pilots take the latest out on an airshow.
Perhaps as a demonstration to the inexperienced drivers converting from T-72s it might be good but not on the day you display the pride of Russia.

Because when the tank brakes down they can blame the driver for not being able to operate it on a straight road.

Then you can easily answer the following:

1. So tell everyone how it's possible that the T-14 supposedly broke down but then magically drove away right after a technician came out of the tank?

2. Tell everyone how it's possible that an engineering recovery vehicle, which should easily be able to tow any tank was not able to get the T-14 to even budge an inch (obviously the brakes were locked).

3. Tell everyone how it's possible that after a supposed transmission problem (a catastrophic one if the tank just stops) the T-14 was able to drive away like nothing happened?

4. Tell everyone how you were able to know how to operate a T-14 to come to your conclusion, i assume if i put you into a 737 aircraft you would know how to operate it and know every button too?

Although I do believe you, it was probably the driver's fault but I don't understand why the idea of a prototype malfunction freaks you out so much that you end up calling people retarded names like Tork. Whatever the problem was, it is a prototype mate. Just take a chill pill and relax.

Nothing freaks me out. I am responding accordingly, remember what happened in the Altay thread, a bunch of people there started outright trolling, then taunting, then name calling, and then i was attacked for defending the T-14. I was attacked and accused of trolling and derailing the thread when it was actually the other way around and i actually told people to just stick to the topic of the Altay and debate the T-14 in the Armata thread. Is that not reasonable?

In the end even a Turkish moderator was on my side, calling my actions reasonable and acknowledging that it was the Turkish members that instigated everything. In the end i have no problem with acknowledging anything, every machine and prototype has issues in development, and as so i would be completely okay if people actually were genuine about their criticism but it went far beyond that, it went into taunting, name calling, and chest pounding such as look at the T-14, it's junk, Altay powerful and beautiful, you must respect it.
