The part of Mahabharata shown in Arjun the warrior prince seems to be differing with the text itself, actually Arjun does this feet to gain the hand of Princess draupadi in swayamwara, where he is asked to shoot a fish placed on a rotating disc not directly but by looking at its shadow in the water below it. Well must be director's imagination i guess, he must have thought this a bit more heroic!!!!!.
Also what is so special about the animation? Hanuman movie and Hanuman Returns are also in the same league if u ask me.

India and china are rising as big majors in animation and visual effects market and many projects are been outsourced to these countries.

ontopic: lots of the animation for Lord of the Rings: The Return of The King was outsourced to Indian firms.
Also 70% of Twilight- New moon animation is done by prime focus. Also 10% of AVATAR is done by them too.
