Arjun Tank for Export? A South American Country Asks for Request for Proposal

IF you have own machine which can cross a little better than that ( week bridge ) and can drive 450km without refuelling or changing whole army's logictics.

heavy tank= better protection but:
a heavier tank also needs a more powerful engine (1400 hp ?), a more powerful engine means bigger fuel consumption , bigger fuel consumption equals shorter operational range.
and which is made just for you - desgined for your terrain your climate and your needs.
Does not stand, it has to be ready for any terrain and any needs.
and will be reliably there for you anytime you need since its your own
Yes but Arjun is not that tank.

Arjun Tank is a big failure for indian, their army only order a few Arjun tank to act like toy during indian national day parade, Arjun have no use during war! so indian army have to order mass russian T90! so ,for exporting? that's a big joke!

100 MBTs!!!!:woot: I hope they don't screw up. This is a big order and an opportunity to gain a foothold in the untapped South American defence market. The competition is tough! But still think the Arjun offers the best bang for the buck amongst its competitors.

Aleast I hope it offsets the cost of development.
One of the serious problems with Arjun apparently was that it was not able to make sharp turns having to draw wide arcs everytime.:pop:
