ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Arif Alvi and Imran Ismail have been arrested on Monday while they were going to Bani Gala—the residence of Imran Khan.

Talking to workers earlier, the duo said they have brought food for the protesters who are staying at Bani Gala to attend Islamabad Lockdown on November 2.

Pushing and pulling both of them, Islamabad police hustled the leaders into police van and whisked them away.

It should be mentioned here that the both the leaders spearheaded Karachi protest after PTI workers including women were mishandled and put behind bars on October 27.

The shameful silence of state institutions is really astonishing. Just look at the bloody SC. Arif alvi is one of the decent and finest parliamentarian we have. No governor rule it is just rumor nawaz will dig his own grave if he does that.

Weakness of whom? Army because it seems things will end up bloody. KPK CM is not backing down and people have started to gather on haroona abad bridge and on the other side so is the badmaash police of Punjab. They have even started arresting women who are parliamentarians from outside Banigalla. This will send the wrong signal if armed forces of Pakistan do not react to safeguard the people of Pakistan.
Another interested development is that Nawaz's yaar Modi has pointed India's guns towards borders and their is continues shelling from their side on LOC

What is the military waiting for sir? Civilians are being tortured to death by this fascist government. Judiciary is hand in gloves with them and everyone knows it. The only powerful institution left is the army if they don't act now we may be pushed to a civil war. I'm watching news right now and Punjab police has targeted CM KPK's car with shells. If army doesn't act now I'll have to think we are expecting too much from the army and may be they are a part of some settlement as well.
