Arianespace to launch India's GSAT-11 communication satellite

India imports a lot of components for its satellites, this should not be ignored. It is one reason why India can make top notch satellites.

America, Europe and Japan too import a lot of components for their satellites.

Yet you do not find them reminding everyone like Indians in pakistani forums. Probably because they do not have an inferiority complex and a constant need for self deprecation.

Maybe you should not ignore that either.

Guys take a chill pill. Both of u are right and wrong.
Sc160 will replace the L110 on the mk3 also called the lvm3.
This will then evolve into the ulv which will have he sc200.

The diff is only propellent mass

Both will use an sce200 cluster config.

If you read my post, I was talking about GSLV. Not ULV.

Europe and Japan, yes. America, No.

US is the most mature supply chain of satellite components, and they supply to the rest of the world. (excluding China and Russia over whom they have placed sanctions)

And it has got nothing to do with inferiority complex. It is just about appreciating and apprehending the real situation. Rather, even APJ Abdul Kalam in his book wrote about the Indian dependence for electronics on the USA.

Without acknowledgement, there can be no redressal.

Wrong. US has only banned built satellite components, not individual components like IC's and other individual components most of which is made outside the US.

Its called a global supply chain.

Kalam mentioned US electronics because US had issued sanctions on India and had pressured it allies to enforce that ban of components and technology.

Incorrect. Not only has US banned electronics exports to Russia and China, it has also banned China from launching any satellite with its components on it!

And US did issue sanctions earlier, but today there are no more sanctions.

(There isn't as much of a global supply chain in space-grade electronics as you think, most of the world uses electronics from the US. Very few countries make radiation-hardened ICs. )

So the SC stage with SCE-200 engine will named after the weight of the propellant and sources says it will contain 160 Tons.

Which means by ISRO Nomenclature the name of that stage will be SC-160. (Semi Cryogenic 160)

It will be SC 200. I think they were contemplating an SC 160 stage earlier.

Preliminary details of overall Stage configuration and stage engineering of Semi-cryo stage with 200 T propellant loading (SC 200) has been worked out.

These are Informal slides by ISRO scientists present to an unknown gathering.

It was presented at the International Cryogenic Engineering Conference. Not some informal gathering.
