You ignore the whole point in my opinion ....I am saying ...Argentinians are opting for JF-17 to use for the same role as they have used their Super Etendards ..Thunder with CM 400 AKG. When Brits would come up with F-35, by then Argentina will have something else to cope that !

It would have been better if Argentina would have purchased a mixture of JF-17 and J-10A or B. But since the word is that Chinese are not interested in selling J-10 JF-17 is not a bad option at either. Going for JF-17 would mean UK can not use its diplomacy against Chinese like they did with Swedish.
Overall good news for PAC and Chengdu hopefully they'll make the first sales of JF-17/FC-1.

Do you have any proof of this 50/50 profit sharing agreement? Also, even now PAC is just about to move to 58% of parts of JF-17 being manufactured in Pakistan, that is years after production started, so i believe we are very far from completely manufacturing JF-17's here.

It was a joint venture, and the deal said the profits of any sale would be 50/50. It's public info, google it, or go to the jf forum section. I'm on mobile, so I can't help much, but this info is well known.

The 58% is ToT not manufacturing, there is a difference. Pakistan is getting the ToT on all none sensitive Chinese components (and I'm guessing some vital components) of the jf-17 so it is easier for PAC to continue development on its own.

Argentina is seeking to purchase 24 advanced fighter aircraft from China, Defense Minister Agustín Rossi told press Tuesday. The jets, it was soon reported, would be capable of reaching the Falkland Islands, a South Atlantic archipelago owned by the United Kingdom but claimed by Argentina as the Islas Malvinas.

Within the next week, “the chief of staff of the Argentinean Air Force is traveling to China along with a technical delegation to analyze the possibilities” of purchasing up to 24 FC-1/JF-17 fighter jets, said Rossi.

“The single-seat, single-engine fighter has a top speed of Mach 1.8 at altitude of 55,000 ft and combat range of 840 miles, allowing it to comfortably fly to Port Stanley and back from the Tierra del Fuego air base in southern Argentina,”wrote British journalist Marco Giannangeli on February 15 after initial high-level talks between Buenos Aires and Beijing.

Rossi confirmed that the government is seeking to buy “no lees than 12 and no more than 24″ fighters.

“This is a new thing for the Argentinean Air Force, which has always had Western equipment,” he said. However, Rossi also mentioned that there are “two formal offers” to buy Spanish-made F1 jets, and the Kfir Block 60 from Israel. “Informally, we also have a French offer,” he added.

Rossi estimated that the purchase process will be finished before the end of the year. He said that when he receives all the formal offers he “will take the different alternatives to the president so she can make the decision,” he said.

On Monday, President Cristina Kirchner, along with Rossi and Army Chief César Milani, announced that the Argentinean army is to receive additional funding of AR$930 million (about US$71 million). “[This is] the largest investment ever made in a long time” to equip the force, she said.

The investment includes the purchase of 120,000 new uniforms bought in China, 35 Hummers, and 30 trucks to transport troops and equipment, among others.

The announcement comes in the same week as a prosecutor in the province of Córdobaasked a judge to bring a case against Milani, who is currently under investigation for human-rights violations during the 1976-1983 military dictatorship.

China has helped Pakistan develop JF-17 on 50/5o finanance and
59/41 production basis,but final assembly is done in Pakistan.since
China is not inducting this aircraft in their air force,Pakistan will also
provide training and after sale service.

Why is china not inducting jf-17 ?
I thought ts a very capable fighter.

China had two parallel programs ie; FC-1 and J-10(based on Israeli Lavi).Half way through China found J-10 more suitable for their needs.They invited Pakistan to join in that program as well.Initially Pakistan did agree to join this program,hence the FC-20 was worked on ,but having two programs with not much difference but the range and fiscal
constraints forced Pakistan to stick to JF-17.China has been trying to sell this machine without any success so far.
