I think we should respect everyone choice. At the end of the day no one is forced to be a vegan or forced to eat meat.

Explain difference and practice to me, please?

^ I guess main procedure is same

Both shechita and dhabiĥa involve cutting across the neck of the animal with a non-serrated blade in one clean attempt in order to sever the main blood vessels.
Both require that the spinal cord be avoided during slaughter
Both require draining the blood of the animal.

Not at all, Muslims are allowed to eat Kosher because its similar to the way we slaughter animals.

Don't think Jewish people are allowed to eat Halal meat though.

I too believe they can't eat all of it. The Law was made strict because of the nature of the ummah at the time of Muusaa A.S., and later relaxed when the ummah expanded to include all man+jin-kind.

Did you know Muslims are allowed to eat meat from an animal slaughtered by a Christian too? Though in today's world that's practically impossible, since the guy serving you meat might be Christian but the animal killed by electric shock or whatever.

Coming to the thread topic, me I've been for a time a strict pizzarian for the several years! Dorm life makes you that.

So you are vegeterian because of religious reasons or you are vegetarians because you care about animal rights? would you be a vegetarian if Brahman was allowed to eat meat? Do you think vegetarianism is morally superior to meat consumption? :)

I have few family members who are vegetarian for no reasons and they always subjected to limited options when eating out in parties. Many peoples simply don't comprehend why anyone would not want to eat meat

I know a bunch of Brahmins that eat meat. It has nothing really to do with the caste. It's mainly due to cultural upbringing.
