So, compare the education rate between average karachite and a sindhi. I feel sad for these good Sindhis, Having ugly leaders

The way to solve this is to bring Karachi under direct federal administration. The next phase is of course, gradually dissolving all provinces and reverting to old unitary government system. Allowing local assemblies to take roots was among the biggest mistakes of the 70's. Provincial governments are breeding grounds for mismanagement and local thugs.

Pakistan should just ditch the Federal structured model and go full Unitary mode form of Governance, but that will never happen because there is too many vested interests from rich landowners with acres of land, oilgarchs, and other thugs who will lose their privilages and mix in ethnic politics as well, not even a quasi federal mode where the Islamabad could appoint CMs or Governors would work cause of the same vested interests

I don’t understand why in the end you always drag “Urdu speaking” in the convo of Karachi.

Karachi is a metropolitan city, Any polished citizen be it pathan, Punjabi, Baloch or sindh, Is equal part of it given they are taking care of the city and contributing goodness, Doing things legally and not acting as if they own the place.

My problem is, People who have their own villages or cities, come to karachi and try to portray as if they own the city, such that, People who have no other home than karachi (Many many pakhtuns and Punjabis also fall in this criteria) feel oppressed.

I am in no way supporting urdu speaking here, Corrupts are everywhere, Anywhere where people are exploitable, Corruption exists. I know very well some corrupt people of urdu speaking in the field of education as well.

But you are trying to defend those who just out of nowhere, Come out of their villages with sub standard education and no actual qualification and cry out using quota system for government jobs, Just because their own “Saieen” owns the whole of sindh, Same language and ethnicity.

Pakistan is plagued by ethnicity. Provinces are the reason it has still existed and cemented very well...

Problem with these poor rural people, My sympathies for them, I know their miserable lifestyle and how they have to submit to local waderas, They couldn’t change unless someone gives a DANDA, But, Meanwhile, Why let everyone else suffer as well ? Karachi doesn’t have wadera system but it is indirectly affected due to provincial government.

And the money you are talking about, Provincial government didn’t give this money from their own pockets, They recieve from federal gov, And in turn from same population.

People of karachi have urban sense, When rural people come, Their ways conflict with those of urbans, Hence the deshaping of city.

Bhai Jan Karachi me waqai sub kuch Khud hi bnaya over the past 150 years! From kolachi a lil fishing Outpost to being taken up by britishers due to its strategic location to the port development n expansion to the rise of industry n commerce to the dominant role of minorites specially Hindus n parsis b it healthcare, education, architecture u name it!
With due respect, hum ye nai samjhte k these communities already were ahead of the native population like kp, west Punjab, baluchistan etc coz they had direct interaction with British model of education n development! Hence the glaring difference in polished n educated ppl in eastern provinces (undivided British Indian empire) n backwardness in Western provinces! Agar British north mein hotay like central Asia downwards n buffer would've been Indus then on the southern n Eastern side i.e. Ganges n modern India, those would've been periphery areas n they would've been backwards!
However alhamdulillah education did expand anyhow n today west Punjab yaani Pakistani Punjab, kp, everyone is much much better than under the British Raj pre-Independence.
