This is not true actually. We still have some problems of zat. In central Punjab, families are divided in half between N and PTI. It is creating many problems. North Punjab is much more pro-PTI. However in spite of this, I don't see N coming back, they back is broken.

N league government was no longer benefitting the people, and the flood revealed basic inadequacies in roads, overpasses, metro, coupled heavy handedness with Tahir al Qadri and PTI. N was doing everything to push people to PTI.

I think PPP time is coming soon, but Karachi'ites need to keep supporting PTI and most importantly hold PTI accountable.

I was answering to your suggestion regarding karachiites vote for ppp. Ppp is a failed anti development party. If this party is so good then why punjab did not giving them seats in Punjab for CM ship since 1977. This party has a chance since 1989 to develop karachi but they failed. People can and will vote for them if they work in Karachi but they are not doing it.
The attitude you are talking about is very common amongst all. I worked with punjabis and pushtuns and i know how we all use bad words against each other. I don't want to give examples and excuses. But can you tell me why this quota system in our government organizations. How many interior sindhis in the army and become general. How many baloch and sindhi in our bearucracy. IG of karachi is always from punjab or in some case from interior sindh. I am a very liberal open person but these are some serious cases which can't be ignore. One of my punjabi friend from lahore daily use bad words against pathan because imran is a pathan and destroying lahore. Lots of examples. I agree we karachiite also using these kinds of words.

It is not just waderas' problem, all the political families left behind by British sahab bahadurs after 1947 believe only in one-way democracy, that is the democracy to get into parliaments which gives them the ultimate control over the money and administration. They don't believe in the other side of the democracies, that is the voters/people's side and they are aided in this process by your beloved "establishment". Both Waderas/Jageerdars/Big Industrialists and the establishment believe only in one way democracy. Pakistan needs to throw away the british system of first past the poll electoral system and adopt and proportional system of electoral democracy where every vote matters and gets representation in the parliament to voice their concerns about the state of the country. The current british system of electoral democracy insures that no voices against the waderas/jageerdars/big industrialists ever reach to the parliament in any kind of significant proportions and our establishment insures it because they also fear the "accountability" at the hands of the true voices of the society getting into parliament by proportional representation electoral democracy.
