Its difficult to think Indians give more respect to artists than pakistanis... its just that we got a bigger market and artists get bigger exposure here.
Its upto them whether they want name and fame and money, or want to be satisfied with whatever they got. Its individual decision.

Yes i admit, they use to watch our dramas. But still there is a limit to it. They are not giving them too much heed neither their channels are broadcasting our dramas all the time unlike ours. Instead they prefers their own programs and are keen in promoting their own culture and industry. And that is the sole reason behind the success of bollywood.


No my intentions are not to target any peculiar channel, instead i am pointing towards all the channels which are doing this, be it geo, ary or others.


Look bro! there is a law in our country which permits any channel to show foreign contents. By saying they are designated to show them then i dont understand why did we banned indian channels at the first place.


Frankly speaking i have watched only two or three indian films in my whole life and i have watched all of those in my childhood.
And no! i dont listen to indian songs, i prefer Pakistani.

You are too much patriotic...Bollywood is not successful because someone regulated the content of the movies rather the quality of product that Bollywood makes, is better and it appeals to people who understand Hindi,Urdu and South Asian nations....Now, the more and more people in India understands English, you will see that Indian audience will start watching English movies too...Does watching English channel means we Indian does not love our nation?...Of course no...If you are so much obsessed with India, then what about US and the West? They are exploiting you like dirt since independence...Does that mean you will stop watching English channel or stop using the product created by West??....

Well it is global culture nothing can be done about it.But we should not be influenced by culture of our enemy country.Anyway nothing wrong because you cannot force anyone to do this and that if they want to watch Bollywood movies and listen songs then deal with it.Also listening and watching bollywood does not make one unpetrotic is just time pass.

Why our channels promoting indian culture?

We can not let these sold out channels to impose foreign culture on us.

Can you please elucidate the difference between Indian and 'Pakistani culture'? By the way, there's no such thing as an exclusive Pakistani culture, as India and Pakistan were both part of a single entity before partition, having a similar culture.

Why our channels promoting indian culture?
If they are supposed to show indian contents then why did we banned indian channels at the first place?
Each and every country in this world have a firm grip over their channels. Their channels are bound to show and promote the culture of their country, but why are our channels not showing our Pakistani culture? are they not Pakistani?
And why is our government and PEMRA is quite over this sensitive issue?


These were the questions which came in my mind after watching this disturbing thing in our channel. I know this is not new and there are plenty of other channels out there who are busy day and night fading our culture and moral values, but enough is enough, this has to be stopped. Its time to break our silence over this madness. We can not let these sold out channels to impose foreign culture on us. And we can not let these channels to contaminate and to play with the minds of our people. Its now time that we Pakistani should open our eyes and look what's happening around us, before the thing gets worst.

We need to boycott these channels, and should start a campaign to give awareness to our people about the harms that these sold out media has caused us.

That 'Tillak' bothered you so much that you opened up a new thread, however, you see no problem with 'Al-Bakistan' number plate cars running amok in Bakistan? Indian culture, however alien, is still closer than that of any camel culture!

Why don't you ban Urdu as well and start speaking Al-Arabi, or maybe even get rid of Shalwar Kameez and start wearing them hulla bulla garbs!
