Arabs See Pakistan as Future Superpower

On a serious note, Pakistan does have great respect in the Muslim world.

A fair few of my relatives went for Hajj this year, and according to them, in the tents at Mina and the grounds of Arafat, when the arabs and other saw Pakistanis, they were very pleased , and immediately 'Ahlan saddiqi' and all that. Utmost respect. And the feeling is mutual.

Similarly, I got alot respect from my Omani friends, it is a good relation at the basic level. Don't know why everybody thinks that if Europeans or anybody has a bad image about Pakistan, the whole world should have it like that.

no sir,i love pakistani culture and its martial elements and folk music of pakistan.what i am saying is the truth,i knw the heavy industrialization of Rahim Yar Khan and the airfield at Shamsi built by the arabs,

But i am just telling the truth,mentioned by my own colleagues in Dubai and Doha.

And i would love India and Pakistan even if they are not super powers.

and i am talking to you what i did ok . i live in gulf since 12 years and i go vacation pakistan after 10 months i will be in pak . no one stop me from my family .and as insider i know well . FYI in punjab sindh no one even think terror is a threat . i was been there and no one say onece abut ISI TTP INDIA any word its just internet jumpers jump daily common man live as he live in 1990 or 1980 .

My friend does the same, and I have a fair few other people as well who come to Pakistan every year. Even a very very high ranking UN official comes to Pakistan every year. He is very close to the top, i can assure you of that.

Its not new thing. Pakistan due to many things ,is superior than all Islamic countries such as Nuclear weapon, warfare techniques ,its leadership attitude and foreign policy.
Anyhow, glad to see my country's flag above all

Not foreign policy bro. Pakistanis are being killed by US drone attacks in their own country and Pakistan government does nothing to stop it.

It was said that during the final days, there would be a lot of Muslims but they would be very weak and very divided, And we see that happening today.

Well congrats to that idea.

But coming to reality , that poll was based on some 3000 odd folks across so many countries. Not going into dungeons of probability, but one cant deny that it as the common man`s perception.
It was not an expert opinion.

Someone commented on arabs being highly impressed upon pakistan's military prowess, leadership and so on.But of you actually look back in your history, its been a failed democracy with bouts of dictatorship.It has started 4 major conflicts/wars with India and has never been able to win conclusively in any one of them.Leadership?Well the best example is what you are experiencing now.The seeds sowed in the 80`s are showing their face now, and from both your one time allies- the mujahadeen turned tal;ib and grand daddy Usa.Your economy is in shambles.And i am not reffering to some far fetched forex figures. A basic service like the railways is its nadir with it being not able to pay the basic salary to its employees.

We are all paper tigers and winners at the same.The ground reality is very different.Take India for eg. I was always taught in geography books how rich we are in natural resources.Be it coal or uranium.But the irony is the very states in India which have these resources figure as the lowest rung in economic capability in the national scale.


So i would request some real pointers why pakistan thinks it will crawl out of its current situation to lead the muslim world?

While I agree with the gist of the article, I do NOT expect Pakistan to ever become a 'superpower'. 'Superpower' is too loaded a word, & we shouldn't even aspire to become one. However, I do see Pakistan as an important country with plenty of growth in the near future, as soon as it tackles its outstanding issues.

Iran wants to be the leader of the Muslim world but in my opinion Arabs will never accept Iran as the leader, and you can not ignore Arab countries when talking about Muslim countries.

So this just leaves Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but Saudi Arabia does not have a strong military and intelligence agency as Pakistan. Saudi rulers are internationally known as pets of the US government. No offense to anyone, but this is the truth.

And Alhamdulillah, i'm am glad that Pakistan does not have that oil of the middle east, otherwise we too would have been sitting on our rear ends, while other countries around us would have been rapidly progressing.

My point is, when you work hard for something only then do you know its true value, and Pakistan has achieved many difficult feats due to the hard work and dedication of our people because we know that we don't have anything to fall back on, once you step forward, there is no going back.
