Arabs prefer life in Israel

they are not given voting rights and are not allowed to pursue military obligation

i think as the non-Jewish population grows, there will be greater discrimination from the right-wing parties; however there are moderate/'liberal' voices in israel as well

hopefully sanity would prevail in the end; we will unlikely see a just solution to the problem in our lifetimes, if things go the way that they are

the fact of the matter is, every time an israeli is killed in a terror attack is serves israeli purposes more than it serves Palestinian purposes. The israelis benefit the most from it.

That`s funny because there are 11 Muslim-Arab Knesset members(Our parliament) which can only be elected through voting, and 4 Arab exclusive parties. They can also volunteer to serve, and some do, Arab christians and even a few Muslims serve the IDF today. Why do you try to make yourself look ignorant?

.
Who can blame them for wanting to live where they and their ancestors have lived for hundreds of years. Whether Isreal, Palestine, Transjordan or the crusaders were to come to their land in the next hundred years and so forth, they will surely want to stay there. It is their land no matter which umbrella states passport they have, it is home for them.

Believe it or not arabs are 2nd class citizens in Israel. From media articles i have read it is quite substantial. Here are a few links:

Safed rabbis urge Jews to refrain from renting apartments to Arabs - Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

Rabbis' wives urge girls not to date or work with Arabs - Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

Israel offers them peace to an extent (let me explain): if in fact they were to reside in the occupied territories they would be at the mercy of the terrorists (IDF zionists etc). With the systematic destruction of their lives and the palestinian economy, where would you stay? somewhere you can't earn a living to support your family and kids or somewhere where you can support them. Believe it or not arabs are also humans, they do need to feed kids NOT KILL THEM LIKE THE ZIONISTS. By them residing in Israel by no means portrays their support for Zionism, or the state of Israel only a fool would think so.

I did say that they are not wanted here, those that want this country to die and besmirch our soldiers, Jewish and Muslim alike will never be welcomed here.
The fact that Jews resided here for centuries before them has no consequence for you then? Of course not.

but they dont have that much of a power do they?

if they wanted to remove all the settlers from palestinian soil, wich party in knesset (except arab parties) would vote for this? no one, so there is practically no need for them there!

They are elected, and they have power and they abuse that power. And the Knesset isn`t short of left wing Parties that are Jewish in nature and Anti-Zionist in thought. A Muslim Arab was recently the Israeli Minister for Science, Culture and Sport.

Hi,

I am not misinformed and I think you did not read my post carefully.

I did not say the Arabs has outnumbered Jews in Israel now. I mean it will happen in the future since the birth rate for Arabs is much higher than the Jews.

The other point is not what type of Arabs are in Israel's army, but what will happen when Arabs outnumber Jews in the future. Will you keep those Arabs outside Army at all? Or you have to recruit some of them.

BTW, they have better ways to infiltrate into Israel army even though you may have the best intelligence.

As far as the Palestinian state, well, when Jerusalem issue is not settled, I do not think the Palestinian state issue is settled. The current Arabs in Israel may go nowhere. What will happen when Palestinian state is not set up in 20 years??? Will the Arab population in Israel grow at a higher rate?

BTW, how would you not allow them to grow???

You are quite misinformed ephone. The most non-jewish soldiers are Druze Arabs, they are part of our nation are considered brothers. Other Arabs violently discourage joining the IDF. The Arabs do not outnumber us,they are currently almost 20% of our population and they never will because we will not allow that. Palestine will be created and exclusively Arab villages and cities will be annexed to Palestine. There will be no more Arab immigration here, that is the whole point of the peace process. There are still more Jews making aliyah every single year, and ultimately Europe and Russia will be mostly without jewish populations. Our ultimate goal is to make Israel the country of most if not all Jews of the world.

About he being mocked, I have no idea where you get such information.

First, his rank is major. What type of patients there dare to mock him??? Have you ever been in military??? Do you dare to mock your higher rank officers???

Do NOT use such blatant lie to beautify his terrorism activity. So pathetic.

I mention him since he is a terrorist. I use him as an example that it is very possible that Arab Israeli will infiltrate into Israel army doing the same type of terrorism activities in the future.

as far as i know zionists are made up ONLY by jews, so how can he be MUSLIM and a zionist at the same time??

it's like saying im half budhist and half bahai?!?!?!

i hope you know why he shot them, he did it because they were mocking him while he tried to help them with theire psygolocical problems. he was a psychologist, and they mocked him with words like "terrorist", "suicide bomber" etc. he didn't do it because of JIHAD!!!

Why didn't you mention that?

It is not surprising since there is a jewish general in China red Army under Chairman Mao as well. His name is: Jakob Rosenfeld.

Jewish doctor turned 'Buddha savior' under Mao - Israel Culture, Ynetnews

Unfortunately, he went home for a visit after 1949 but was unable to be back China for certain reason, for which I am not sure. I think it might be the hostility towards new China causes him not be able to travel from the west back to China.

Otherwise, he will be a higher rank official and general in PRC. By his profession, he might be the first health minister in China as well.

BTW, it is surprising that Eli Marom indeed looks like Chinese.

That person was showed in a video taken with a known terrorist, that US major as far as i remember.
There are Jewish,Christian and even Muslim Zionists. Zionists are people who want to see a strong Israel and to see the home place of Jews to prosper. And today Zionism is attributed to love of Israel and Patriotism within Israel.
Druze are not Muslims, Druze is their religion. There are Druze Zionist organizations.
You mean Mizrahi and Ethiopian Jews, yeah of course they can, they are a third of our population they came from Africa and Middle east and they are mostly brown, dark brown.
They are part of our religion and race, it`s not like America where they traded African slaves. There is no hate for black people here. Illegal immigrants and infiltrators on the other hand are not exactly beloved.

And Israeli Muslims can be patriotic, for example Amos Yarkoni, you can`t get more patriotic than him.
Lieutenant Colonel Amos Yarkoni (Hebrew: עמוס ירקוני‎) (born 1920 — died 7 February 1991), born as Abd el-Majid Hidr[1] (Arabic: عبد الماجد حيدر‎, Hebrew: עבד אל-מג'יד חידר‎) was a legendary officer in the Israel Defense Forces and one of six Israeli Arabs to have received the IDF's third highest decoration, the Medal of Distinguished Service. He was the first commander of the Shaked Reconnaissance Battalion[2] of Israel's Southern command.

There are streets named after him in his honor today.

P.S
It might surprise the Chinese members here but our commander of the Israeli Navy is of Chinese origin.:china:

Muslim,Christian,Druze Arabs are all fundamentally different, the type does matter. 90% of Druze today serve and continue to serve. IDK what will be in 20 years, i do not believe Palestinians or their sympathizers will wait another year let alone 20 for a "Palestine" to be created. But let me assure you, that will be a worse case scenario, being outnumbered by Arabs. Every leader knows that that must never be allowed to happen.
There are still 9 Million Jews living out of Israel and i believe eventually they will all come to Israel, either by choice or lack of it.

Eli Marom`s maternal grand father was chinese who converted to Judaism and married a Russian Jew.

the population density of israel is quite alarming;

does israel plan to bring American-born American national Jews --whose number is higher than the population of israel if im not mistaken?

i know the settlements (whose legality is in question) are continuing; but where will you fit these people

Our south is mostly uninhabited and we are constantly creating more and more new homes.
The goal is eventually bringing all Jews to Israel, but for now Europe and Russia are the most urgent since Anti-Semetism has always been stronger there than in other places. Iran too of course, there are about 25K Jews living there.

.
Iranian Jews wont budge....theyve been part of the country for centuries long before israel existed. In fact they have been quite vocal in how they would defend Iran in the event of hostilities

I've yet to meet a political zionist from Iran.

You are right about Russia and Europe. therefore i would support that israel condemn them and take wahtever action is necessary. Don't take action against Palestinians who are poor and defenceless.

.
Are Arab Jews allowed to intermix with Jews in israel? Are black Jews allowed to intermix with other White Jews in Israel?

How are black Jews treated in israel? Are they treated with equality?

What do you mean "allowed", allowed by who?
What do you mean "treated"? treated by who?

post Mavi Marmara, wasnt an Arab member of knesset mocked and ridiculed while she had the mic? A very reasonable woman actually.

i dont subscribe to the whole anti-israel frenzy, im just stating facts or questions that come to my mind

Would that really be "advantageous"? But I suppose it's a "Judaic" matter internally. To me this smacks of voluntary "re-ghettorization" and probably makes "Eretz Yisrael" the New Pale of Settlement ...

In my mind this is like doing anti-Semites' job for them. At least this is forgoing "leverage" and playing with lives of people ... for what? Temporary advantage in demographic engineering? I thought that's what American-Israeli dual Citizenship is for ... Well who am I to judge the method ... to each his own.

But as a mere earthling, one of the 6 billion that are breathing at the moment, the main lessons I would personally draw from some of the most tragic events of the 20th Century emphasize the importance of "options".

I take GWB at face value when he supposedly declared that "he was fighting 'them' there, so he won't have to fight 'them' here" (of course in his mind the veritable "them" might include "gog and magog" ...).

Old Europe today is batting pretty hard for Israel, too, as I believe they are fighting to keep them "there", as opposed to having them back to you-know-where ...

Let's not forget the shiny, new-fangled "R2P" Principle championed by UK and France. As long as Jews are in Europe, it is Europe's R2P.

I think it was Herzl (I could be wrong) who supposedly quipped that the Jews in fact landed in continental Europe en masse a good few hundred years before the standard bearers of the Frankish Kingdoms. This would be anthropologically sound given Roman history understood even at the elementary level ...

So I am baffled where this voluntary vacating of Europe came from.

Again, whatever floats one's boat at a given moment in time, I suppose. But exactly how "strategic" this is is debatable.

And I will add, here in Canada at least, I have met more Israelis who made "reverse Aliyah" than Jews who made permanent or semi-permanent "Aliyah". Now if they hold dual citizenship, I could see how it might be strategic, whereby they can vote in the Israeli elections while living in a way as "absentee landlords" (this analogy is not exact but holds some water as they could be seen as the current "landlord" of the Occupied Territories).

As far as this voting on both sides are concerned, Lebanese do it, Hong Kong Chinese do it, NRIs do it, and South Koreans do it ... I believe ... and these are just a few among many.

But not the Palestinians, I suppose ... as I understand many don't even have citizenship where they are actually living.
