Arab World's Embrace of Israel: Implications for Pakistan?

Pakistan does not follow the arabs. Our policy is clear, give Palestinians their independence & we'll recognize them. We have no need prese to recognize them like the arabs do since they are totally dependant on the u.s. for everything.

Pakistan remains much more similar to Israel than we choose to acknowledge. Zia understood this. Musharraf understood this. Jinnah didn't only oppose Israel for ideological purposes but I would postulate that it was an affiliation to the defeated Ottoman empire and the Khilafat concept that also drove Jinnah to oppose Israel.

In modern times, with Israel established and the ottomans long gone, some pragmatic Pakistanis realised that there was no real genuine grounds - apart from debatable ideologies - to staunchly oppose Israel. Sadly, the opportunity was not seized.

Pakistan is one of the DUMBEST NATIONS IN HISTORY for not realising this was going to happen.

Had Pakistan showed some fkin common sense instead of listening to antisemitic uneducated mullahs, Pakistan could have short circuited India's grand scheme 10 years ago by befriending Israel.

Turkey treats Israel pragmatically, without emotion, befriending them as and when it suits them.

Yet Pakistan has dug a hole for itself when it could easily have been friendly towards a powerful nation that has more in common with Pakistan than we choose to acknowledge.

Pakistan could plausibly have also done something to help the Palestinians in this way also.

Part of the current UAE-Israel rapprochement specifically includes a stay on the west bank annexation. Quite simply, what decades of belligerence couldn't achieve was achieved in an instant by a hand of friendship.

Aesop wrote a fable millennia ago about the sun and the north wind. I suggest everyone who cares about the Palestinians go and read that fable and realise that belligerence towards Israel achieved nothing for the Palestinians.

Of course, there's no point now. The window of opportunity has been missed and Israel has been bollywoodised already. Pakistan is stuck where it is.

Pakistanis are not dumb; It is our madness method, and it was well put in our consideration. Pakistan is here to undo the project of Israel, not to award its legitimacy through recognition. [Modi’s] Hindutwa Zionists are the attack dogs, but their real handlers sit in Tel Aviv. A Jewish state in Palestine would be an "artificial" result of "immigration" and forced occupation. If we accept Isreal's legitimacy, then we are allowing India to illegal occupation of Kashmir would become legit. As a Pakistani, do you take it? Please don't count me in this sin.

Replace India with Israel... what changes? Does it need a special kind of hug for India to cede Kashmir? Before you befriend Israel ask yourself this, what common cause do you have India, and I don't know maybe project the same on Israel? Any common cause?

If these two conditions are met then I see no reason why we can't recognize Israel. Our PM was married to a Jewish woman of Rothchild decent. Elite Pakistani's are not anti-Semitic, but I won't speak for the mullahs.

UAE has shown that with friendship they could end Israeli plans for annexation while at the same time benefiting immensely from their technology. A win win for all sides tbh.

If only our policy makers could do the same vis via israel or bhaniya policymakers do the same vis via Pakistan/kashmir.

All nations do what is in their interests to do. Pakistan has the worlds second largest Muslim population. The Israeli's would love nothing more than the symbolism of being formally recognized by a large non Arab Muslim nation. It would show that they are not isolated and legitimate.

They are legitimate as they are already recognized by the largest and biggest powers on the globe. And while any additional recognition is good, the only ones that matters to them now is by Arab powers. Not others like Pakistan or Brunei.
