What's new

Arab support for Turkey.

Actually there are no disputes between Egypt and Turkey regarding EEZ. If you had signed a deal with Turkey, you would have more EEZ which would benefit Egypt's national interests.

you cannot see that matter only from your perspective ....

- Egypt postponed EEZ with Greece & Cyprus for years .... for sake of friendly Turkey .
- If there is an agreement against international laws ... or will not be recognized by international community.
- This could be happen if there is alliance between Egypt and Turkey.... which is something unlikely to happen soon.
- Egypt has some islands in front of its shores in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea .... that makes Egypt support the international laws that Egypt signed .

it is Arap nationalism vs Islam Brotherhood...this is besst photo explain how rich arap nation see other muslims:

You never have postponed EEZ with Greece and Cyprus. You never approach Turkey for EEZ, for that you was and still thinking to snoop hydrocarbon fuels with our enemies. If we look Egypts made agreement with Cyprus for EEZ we can go back to 1996. Stop spreading lies, a dictator regime can fool his own people maybe.

being ignorant is a thing ... but spreading ignorance is another thing ....:-)

Turkey has long claimed that the Turkish population of Northern Cyprus must be permitted to benefit from oil and gas deposits within the territorial waters of Cyprus, and has used the threat of force to assert this claim. The discovery of the Leviathan gas field off Israel and then the Zohr gas field find in Egyptian waters in 2015 have created a gas exploration race in the Eastern Mediterranean that has turned Cyprus into a critical player. While Cyprus and Egypt had established a delineated maritime boundary in 2003, Turkish diplomatic efforts kept Egypt from entering into any agreement with Cyprus regarding oil and gas exploration. But following the fall of the Morsi government in Egypt in 2013, Turkish-Egyptian relations soured. By the end of 2013, Egypt and Cyprus had finalized an agreement of joint exploration which, in the aftermath of the Zohr discovery, took on significant geopolitical and economic consequence.

Look what stupid link he come with, go to the site of UN and go read it.

I think most of the Egyptians don't now what they are in to, the story goes back to 90's. And not a gasfield found in 2015! Or you must be dumb or acting like, as I mentioned the agreements and meeting goes to 90's between Egypt and Cyprus. Approach between Egypt and Turkey was in time of Morsi and not dictatorial Egyptian regimes. They want to be slave of west for some share in the energy:-). The only one from Egypt was Morsi who wanted to make a agreement with Turkey. For share in the hydrocarbonate fields Egypt did give away EEZ to Cyprus, doomed to fail.

The agreement in 90's came in force in 2000, this is clearly to understand that Egypt dictator power is not brotherly so Turkish goverment should act against Egypt as enemies.

Lebanese or Armenian TV presenter probably regrets his anti-Turkish comments ol

"Lebanese TV journalist Neshan Der Haroutiounian will stand trial for 'insulting' Turkey

According to Lebanese news agency NNA, which refers to the public prosecutor’s office, Der Haroutiounian will appear in court in Beirut.

The trial is scheduled for October 8.

Der Haroutiounian has been charged in connection with his statement during the “Anna Heek” (This is how I am) program that aired on the Al Jadeed satellite channel."

But unfortunately, the Turkish Regime choose fight over peace ..... choose to be enemy not a friend ..... choose confrontation rather than cooperation ....

MOURSI was elected as president of Egypt by Egyptian People and MOURSI wanted to be friend to Turkiye and MOURSI wanted to work with Turkiye .. so Turkiye-Egypt were allies

but the US-Israel used S.Arabia and The Uae to find SISI to make military coup in Egypt to destroy alliance between Turkiye and Egypt

unfortunately, SISI choose fight over peace ..... choose to be enemy not a friend ..... choose confrontation rather than cooperation

even SISI was ally with christian Greece-France and zionist Israel to steal oil-gas reserves from the Turks in the Eastern Mediterranean

now Greece-France and zionist Israel wants to see a war between muslim countries Turkiye and Egypt for their christian-zionist interests in the Eastern Mediterranean

As you know since the Turkey begin to support Libya against putschist Haftar. Turkey has been at the focus. Some Arab countries regimes critisized Turkey's actions. Not only in Libya but even in East Mediterranean by siding with Greece.

I have seen some comments from Turkish and Pakistanis in this forum that are generalizing Arabs and criticizing them, even insulting them in some occasions. First of all you have to remember that you have to criticize their regimes not Arab people themselves. When you look at the UAE and Saudi Arabia they are both ruled by monarchs and Egypt is being ruled by a putschist dictator.

There are many Arab people that are supporting Turkey in the 500 million Arab world, even in the countries like Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia despite of their regimes. In this regard, i will put support messages from Arab people to Turkey whenever i encounter it online.

So, my request is; just make the distinguishment between Arab people and their regime.

You are correct. I'm also aware of this. It is the middle eastern govts who are wrong (exception of Turkeye) not the Arab or Iranian people.

For all its worth @Amun I do think that countries should stick to their own business and not meddle with internal affairs. Is Sisi a dictator? yes. Do i prefer democracy? Yes - but I disagree with the way we cut all ties with Egypt. Communication, business should always be open. Both great countries don't deserve the relations we both currently have.

here is a reasonable person that I can discuss...

Is Sisi an autocratic person...?! Yes
Is he a Dictator like Saddam /Qazafi or Assad ..!? BIG NO .
Does any one in the world have the right to tell the Egyptians how to be ruled ..?! No body has that right .

Does the mainstream Egyptians support Elsisi...!? Yes , definitely.

Why ... !?
1- Egyptians removed 2 Rulers just in 3 years ... and they can do it again and again.
2- Elsisi has transformed the Egyptian economy to a dynamic capable economy and the Egyptian people touched that in their daily life.

who started this hostility..!?
Erdogan Regime ... due to his ties with the MB terrorists who killed Egyptians .... Erdo Has chosen The benefits of MB over his country Turkey benefits.

MB is not terrorist and MOURSI was elected as president of Egypt by Egyptian People
real terrorist is SISI who killed more than 5.000 Egyptians for American-Israeli interests

muslim Egyptians so hate criminal dictator SISI and his anti-ISLAM policy for christian Copts and Israeli interests

Majority of Arabs hate turks and turkey from what i understand .
not that i hate turkey personally , but the arab-turkish hatred is simple racial hatred.

not Arab Peoples but the US-Israel backed puppet Arab Dictators hate Turkiye

for example president MOURSI ( Egypt ) was ally with Turkiye
but the US and Israel used S.Arabia and The Uae to find another puppet SISI to make military coup in Egypt to destroy alliance between Egypt and Turkiye

also the UN recognized legal Libyan Government is with Turkiye
also another Arab country Qatar is with Turkiye
even Turkiye hosts millions of Iraqi and Syrian Arab refugees

so millions of Arabs in Libya,Iraq,Syria,Egypt,Qatar,Algeria,Tunusia,Kuwait,Palestine even S.Arabia love and support Turkiye
