Ouch.
Not age; that stung!
How about not using insults, as a result of sustained practice over years of expressing loathing and disgust for anyone's views without stooping to insult his person, his family or his antecedents?
Something I'd like to say to my Bangladeshi brothers: I believe relations between India and Bangladesh should be such that neither side feels the need to make elaborate explanations to the other about any step it has taken. So, too, for relations between individual Indians and Bangladeshis; I should not be constantly apologetic for something that I feel is correct and proper, no Bangladeshi should have to explain to me what he (or she) says in a detailed discussion. We are not talking about abuse or gaali; that is not forgivable. All the rest should not come within the scope of forgiving or not forgiving; these discussions, even these real-life positions do not warrant any expression of anger or use of insults.
