Apple iPhone sales are in serious decline. They are too expensive and the magical appeal has somewhat vanished. Die hard Apple users complain that there are no new features that justify the enormous price tag. Additionally customers are getting smarter. No one is going to pay a thousand bucks each year when the barely one year old phone can do with a much cheaper battery replacement.

Apple can shift its assembly line which will come at an enormous cost, but it shouldn't expect massive profit margins like a few years ago. The competition is extreme. New Android flagships with excellent cameras, beautiful design and excellent OLED screens are up for grabs for a fraction of the price.

iPhone set up production in China in the past that take the advantage of cheap labor and captured China market in the early yrs, now iPhone lost China market share because China phone had surpassed iPhone in best value for a great phone with full spec. Chinese don't need overpriced iphone, even iPhone sales in China was rank 4th in China market, iPhone still made largest profit margin in China for iPhone global sales, Apple need China market more than Chinese need the outsource jobs from Apple company.

Kid, I do not need a thank from anyone. This is a free forum, and coming from an advanced country like Germany, you should respect others' opinions.

I am proud of my country, that does not mean I am going to brag. Only weak and unconfident people will brag. What I am saying about Vietnam poor manufacturing capacity are facts, which can be easily verified by reading Vietnamese media, and every Vietnamese leaders know and continue to discuss how to tackle it.

Foxconn has also agreed to build a 13,000-worker facility in Wisconsin in exchange for more than $4.5 billion in government incentives.
