Do you know what $200 profit on a $242 cellphone means? It means no other business makes this percentage of prophet. That is 90% profit.

No way they are making 200 on every phone. I havnt even included other expenses such as hiring personal to sell these products. In Australia and apple customer services person earns 20-35$ an hour. At least in Melbourne.

There is a lot more to that in trading economics...beside manufacturing cost there is R/d, packaging, distribution, whole seller, retailer, etc...

They can sell at whatever the price they want. If you don't like it then vote with your wallet.

I doubt it, iPhone compared to blackberry is for everyone. Blackberry was too much focussed on the work force... the work force market always adapts with trend.

The Original Google Phone Was Almost a Blackberry Clone


though for android it's more like:

SONY/HTC for Design
Google(nexus) for UI/software
SONY for Camera
Samsung for screens
Huwaie for price

for all the things in 1 device(except price), get an iPhone.
