That's one of the reasons (domestic content) that I like Huawei.

I was wondering if Huawei would sell their chips to other Chinese players if they wanted to buy.

Apple have been increasingly cutting corners on build quality, whilst charging steeper prices for products that other companies are making just as well, if not even better. Just give iphone flashy bright colours and Apple-tards will buy them in droves.

It depend on the strategy, if Huawei see Kirin as a leverage to other chip supplier, I think it will not be supplied to other phone brand, kirin is still not strong, or Huawei is still not strong encough in chip field, if now supply chip to other phone brands, I think other chip companies don't like this, it is not good to Huawei now.

Hope one day, Kirin can be strong like Huawei communication equipment, then Chip, Smartphone, Communication equipment become three pillars of Huawei, Huawei will become more stable.
