Apple Pay has officially launched in 13 different countries which includes Portugal, Greece, Slovakia, Romania, etc. It is a digital wallet as well as a mobile payment app created by Apple Inc.

What is Apple Pay?


Apple Pay is a digital wallet that allows users to make payments on the web as well as in the iOS apps. Moreover, it is fully supported on Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad and Mac. Plus, it is a safe mode of transaction that can easily replace debit or credit card chip and PIN transaction.


Apple Pay has become an easy way for Slovakian users. Now, they can fill cards onto their Apple Wallet from Edenred, Slovenska sporitelna, Boon, J&T Banka, N26, Monese, Revolut, mBank and Tatra banka.


Apple Pay’s expansion in other countries
Recently, Apple users from various countries are posting screenshots of the Apple Pay app on their social media accounts. Now, the app also has expanded in numerous bank cards in Croatia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Malta, Lithuania, Slovenia and many more.

Last year, Apple Pay launched its services in Europe, Kazakhstan, Norway, Belgium, Iceland, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Czech Republic, and Austria.

With the help of this app, iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, XS, XR, SEusers can easily make payment. The customers can use an NFC chip developed into their iPhones to make transactions.

In March 2019, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that by the end of 2019, Apple Pay would be accessible in more than forty countries and regions.

I still dont understand why they cant add an option of Magnetic field generator in their phones.

The swipe strip on cards is archaic and a security hazard. We shouldn't be doing anything to support it.

No its not as my phone needs authorization from my finger print every time before emitting magnetic waves. Its a hazard only in USA and its ilks where payments can be made even without entering a pin number or any other kind of authorization just by swiping the card. No wonder there are so many credit card frauds in USA.
So u should probably couple it with a pin instead of launching contactless cards.
