KARACHI: Former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf has termed all the cases against him as ‘fabricated’, saying that he was not scared of these fake cases.

Addressing a ceremony hosted by Chitral Students Association in the honor of former president at a local hotel in Karachi, Musharraf regretted that, “how a common man can get justice in the country where he (Musharraf) failed to do so?”

“The country should not be called as Islamic state where Islamic laws are not practiced”, said Musharraf.

The former army chief asserted that constitution is made to strengthen the country, adding that constitution is not a divine law that can not be amended.

KARACHI: Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharaf says that he supports military courts and believes that in the presence of the Army, the country was out of danger.

During his address at a dinner party he said that sectarianism was the biggest challenge the country faced proving to be destructive for the country.

He denied all allegations leveled against him giving military courts his full support.

He also said that for the last forty years two parties had been taking turns to rule the country and both have brought the country to its knees. He further said that the situation was ripe for a third party to contest elections and dismiss the hegemony of these two parties.
