Very convenient excuse. Clearly the situation has not changed in 54 years and there hasn't been an armed struggle in Kashmir, by those very same Kashmiri's on going since 1989. Those 30 years of trying to fight for freedom don't count, because in 1965 Pakistan army had expectations of military support from unarmed villagers.

yes situation is changed a bit but still we havent seen a major uprising in kashmir against indian rule. you cant get freedom without blood shed. for pakistan situation is not very easy. we have to secure both the eastern and western borders and our enemies are there on our both sides and our political leaders are the most dangerous enemies of pakistan devouring pakistan from inside out.

Actually Azad Kashmir people do go and fight - just because you don't know the names of our martyrs doesn't mean they don't exist. People have tried to march onto the border, they were held back by police. Awam is planning a long march across the border - waiting for PM speech in the UN first.

Why didn't provide them arms? Why Pakistani govt don't start covert war? If govt/army is unwilling to fight, arm the people.

money is no issue for kashmiris.they hve pounds to back them but no will to fight. weapons can be snatched from IA. can build in home can be provided... but they dnt hve the guts to fight only talking...
