Anyone into going to shooting ranges

The only time I ever was in a shooting range with a sports pistol back in 2017... 4 out of 6 shots on bulls eye. I guess I am a natural. Unfortunately getting a license in Bahrain is out of question and it is close to impossible in India as well.

Dude I saw that tiger King series on Netflix
where Travis killed himself my mistake cause he was playing around with his gun

one minute he was playing around next minute he is dead , another video of a probably drunk guy dancing and playing around with his AK-47 as part of wedding celebrations ends up killing someone from the barat party and you hear those feminine screams in the background, another video of someone in his living room with his family and friends playing around with his revolver ends shooting himself (it didn't kill him) - it was so traumatic

I know guns are part of pakistani culture and I respect that but I feel like maybe us regular civillians shouldn't be trusted with guns, if you are ex millitary, LEA I get it but not for regular people

All three examples you gave are of assholes with guns. Those people were being reckless and killed themselves or others. Treat guns with the respect that is neccesary and you won't have such problems.

If I were in the US, I would be owning at least 5 different kinds by now... I am an enthusiast, but alas, I have to make do with what's available & permitted.

You can buy 0.45 caliber 1911s in India now, from WebleyScott and MalhotraSons.

Seems like AMU, Jhelum.

Do you need a license? And is it open to civilians? Next time I am in Pakistan, would love to visit one if there are any near Lahore or Gujrat.

That was a SAI (Sports Association of India) shooting range in Guwahati, Assam sir.

Lol! That was a heavily used olympics pistol. Something like this
Oh nice. I have a rifle at home. You’re in Bahrain so crime is very low. Americas a different beast.

The layout is almost the same, to which I was referring to. Standard layout.

AR is staple in US, it has a custom barrel with a muzzle brake to mitigate recoil. You can do rapid firing with it.

P.S: The guy is me but that's not my gun, this pic was taken during my PhD days, I used to live with few American folks and we used to go shooting or hunting every other week.
