Any US MD practicisng in Pakistan/India?

Canada is harder to gain medical school admission, America is much easier I've heard.
Canada is also harder to gain residency due to low spots unlike America.
Canada also does not like international graduates and favors it's own graduates heavily whereas America has a lot of residency spots for international graduates.

Australia looks like a good country to study? But they give the MBBS degree?

No doubt Canada is harder. I'm in the same boat as you. But if i as an example would like to go to U.S, i need to follow the same steps as Europeans and Pakistanis...

Unfortunatley the time has gone where people from all over the world came to the U.S in the 70s, 80s, and 90s to practice easily with any foreign degree. Since 9/11 and Chinese and Indians started to arrive, things have really changed....

Heck what is happening is, Indians and Chinese medical schools are being affiliated with U.S Hospitals...

But the funny thing is Canada has a shortage of Doctors.

Canada' s doctor shortage will only worsen in the coming decade | Fraser Institute

They should increase medical school seats and residency spots and also allow more seats for International students to apply.

Yes, I think Pakistani/Indians/Chinese , too many of them are becoming doctors..Everyone wants to become a doctor.

Canada only has shortage of doctors in rural areas. i.e in North West territories, Nunavut, Yukon, New Foundland, PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia.

The funny thing is, 70% of Canadian population lives in Ontario, B.C, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchean and doctors there have been lobbying to not bring doctors in main cities so they themselves could get more money among them.

MD is a doctor of Medicine degree granted in America and Canada. It's equivalent to the MBBS degree granted in Pakistan/India.

No it is not, I can not speak for Pakistan cuz I do not know (but it should be the same, as both India & Pakistan follow the British system), but in India, MD you get after completing MBBS. In US an Indian MBBS might be same as an American MD, but in India, MD is an advanced degree one gets to enroll in after completing their MBBS.

There are VERY few Chinese Chinese doctors in the US. Almost all of the Chinese doctors are Chinese Americans. This is because the Chinese medical curriculum is completely in Chinese, not English. The Chinese Chinese doctors in the US are mostly academic research doctors that don't deal with patients.

Any discussions about income should keep in mind the effective tax rates. The take home numbers for doctors in the US are not as good as people might think! ;)
