What's new

Any Ryzen 9 3900XT Users ?

I went from a Q6600 / 8 GB RAM to a Ryzen 2700 with 32GB RAM as a work PC, and daily driver(not gaming). Brilliant CPU. I got the CPU new for 110 GBP, and memory for about 90GB.

AMD have come along way and I suspect for the next few years I will buy AMD until they too turn evil like Intel has..

I am waiting on Nvidia's next generation of graphics card pricing structure to see if i should give up PC gaming for good or if some common sense will return to NVIDIA? ( I have a 970GTX with a 3770k / 16GB RAM for my gaming PC right now, and a Oculus Rift .. ).
I jumped from Intel Q6600 / 8GB RAM to Intel Core i7 2700K / 16 GB RAM, but I sold my setup eventually. Portability for me now.

Intel being EVIL - am I missing something? :undecided: I have always found value in Intel offerings.

AMD has certainly come a long way since Phenom debacle; Ryzen is very good.

You have made me nostalgic. Do you miss the noise of the dial up modem? I strangely do.
My first dial-up modem was a USRobotics model - excellent company and products.

For me know it is hell wastage of money.... long back I stop playing games....I know play with :sniper:
This is not for gaming, Majority of current games mostly use Single Core where Intel runs higher
Hence more fps in Game.
This Monster is for multi core

What's your room temp?
Mine is 27-30 degree.
It's probably also because mine has 16 cores which is a heat monster.
Not much with cores.
I had I7 7700K which is a 4 core cpu and it used to run hotter.
It depends on quite few things
1 your computers air flow.
2 paste you are using.
3 yesterday it was extremely hot when i ran test.
4 another thing your idol temps aren't usually full accurate. Run Stress test to get proper temps.
My idol temps are between 40 to 60

Intel turned evil when they started price gouging their processors. Pretty much like nvidia who are price gouging right now ... so, both nvidia and intel are evil in my book.

Bro,

Following considerations:-

1. More advanced and capable products are increasingly expensive to develop. Numerous factors combine to influence pricing on top including supply-demand dynamics, shipment charges, taxes imposed in destination country, and profit margins defined by sellers.

2. Inflation (cost-of-goods increasing over time). High performance computing components are very expensive in Pakistan lately - many cannot manage to purchase one without pooling money for several months or through kameti.

Yes, I'm OC veteran.
I have all these optimized and using top notch paste.

I have to fine tune the PBO setting and under-voltage to make sure CPU temp is under 90 degree when doing Prime95 test.

BTW, you temp seems too low during test. Most likely you CPU's PBO setting is not on. It's off by default.
You have to turn it on explicitly in BIOS.

My CPU is cool like yours by default setting.
But it's different story with PBO on, it's a monster:partay:
