They have very poor data base, what i learned they lost their data...

That can only happen if someone hacked their website and wiped the data and lo and behold they had no backups . I think something similar happened to PDF before upgrade as well( in my early days over here) where they lost around a couple of weeks of data but I am not so sure .

I discovered Pakdef in the 90's when i was studying in university... it was the first i discovered.
So you can imagine my links with it even if i had only few posts.

Yes sometimes it was hacked with some posts lost.

But since couple of weeks it's offline.. and I'm unable to got some info about it...

I could understand it could be against the rule of this forum... But its an exceptional situation and i think Mods could forgive me. At least i hope so.

So if someone could tell me what happened to pakdef.. please. Many thanks

They say they will relaunch soon but don't give a timeframe.

I know and like a father it was too strict, a forum rallies on member if mods get personal and start banning member on little things then it becomes Pakistandefense.

Yeah. I got banned immediately after joining, without writing a single comment.
On protest they bestowed upon me a limited account which was next to useless.

Yes they were very strict and myself was against their decisions often, but I was used to read all 3 boards, PakDef, PakistaniDefense and of course Defense.pk. All 3 Boards had, and have peoples with same goals : discuss about our beloved country. Of course, like in our life, we don't have same opinions about everything, so i was firmly believing that a diversity among us is necessary as it opens new horizons.
