New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) After a delay of over two decades and several cost overruns, indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas will be inducted in the IAF later this month in Bangalore.

The under development aircraft achieved another significant milestone today with the launching of an infrared seeking air-to-air missile that hit the target with precision and destroyed the target, a DRDO statement said.

Seems it has passed/definite to pass IOC-2 before Induction date. Anyway they are just inducting it sir and It won't be battle ready till FOC(next year end). But again they can keep doing other tests while its inducted to get FOC.
