The World's Biggest Airplane, the Russian Antonov 225.

Attached pics are of the Russian behemoth when it landed at Niagara airport to take load of transformers for KSA.

It is amazing something this huge can stay in the air.

The Wright brothers would never have dreamt it.

Besides the weight , the size of load it can carry within itself is breathtaking.

Not C17 dude. actually this is its kid.

i have a doubt. How russia will maintain this much big elephant. How many numbers of an225 they are going to buy. because its maintanence is a nightmare for anyone even US also. that's why reduced they reduced the max.take of weigght of C5 successor C17.

I wanted to post the documentary on this as I just watched it.

Oh soviets used to produce the best things.

An 225 was a great improvement on 124.
