Chief of the General Staff, Major General Aviv Kochavi, arrived in Morocco this evening on his first official visit to the country.
He will start his visit tomorrow in the guard of honor. Subsequently, the Chief of Staff will meet with Defense Minister Abdellatif Loudi, Inspector General of the Moroccan Army, Lieutenant-General Belhair Al-Farouq and other senior members of the defense establishment.
This is the first visit of an Israeli chief of staff to Morocco, and the Israeli army has stated that its goal is to learn and share knowledge, as part of efforts to expand Israeli military cooperation with other countries.

He came on board of GLF-5 ISR spy plane then he will go back in a commercial plane!
IDF spokesman Ran Kochavi told Ynet that among the topics that will be discussed between Aviv Kochavi and his counterpart will be "the ability to train together in joint exercises, weapons development, and the transfer of knowledge and weapons."
