Anti-rigged elections protests

@Argus Panoptes

You were right and i was wrong all along. I regret all my efforts of the past that i made in good sammariton, believing that there will be a fair fight and a level battlefield.

Pakistan can rest in peace from my perspective. A nation that isn't willing to stand up against a system of domestic colonialism is facing doom.

I am relatively a new and less active member here and when I initially joined and had a taste of foruming you @Aeronaut was one of those who inspired me with your logic, conviction and enthusiasm about variety of topics and I was impressed with your ability to express your feelings in words. Its kinda sad to see you hurt this way but I feel we have not lost it completely infact this election gave us a glimpse of our enemies(or enemies of real democracy in PK) something we were unaware of before may 11 namely establishment(a bunch of guys who thinks they knows best about Pakistan and its interests) and unfortunately they have the means to rig not only elections but also to manipulate media , US who wouldnt have liked a clean record politician like IK to rule Pak as it would have made it impossible for them to get things their way by black mailing and other tactics to which weak people like NS can easily fall prey to , KSA who think they knows best who should rule PAK as they feel they support our economy with their defer oil payments etc , our very own army and ISI we are so proud of in the sense that they feel they cant survive without being in good books of both US and KSA and will endorse any one who has got the approval of both US and KSA (ISI also feel that only they know whats in best interest of Pakistan though they have proven themselves wrong on multiple occasions) and there is no need to mention street thugs turn politicians like Altaf hussain.

We all like to change Pakistan into a place where there is peace and prosperity and where opinion and voice of people is the most loud and commanding but to achieve that we need two things .
1) Unity among people which should be stronger than any ethnic and religious divide.
2) A system where there are open discussions about problems and means to implement the outcome of those discussions

PTI I would say was naive in assuming that all these forces( you think yourself ,was PTI strong enough to take head on all these together .. I think no not at all we dint even know exactly what we are up against) would let it have the power so easily and smoothly . Its a very tough fight which needs to be fought with brain, patience and blood for years before we can see some signs of success. If we get a chance which is unlikely though to make Govt in KPK that would be a blessing and a great achievement as thats the place which needs the most attention.

Ik has the vision and its evident from his face in these post election videos as he is not hurt or broken and is well composed I feel he knew deep inside that it wont be easy to break decades of statusquo and is happy now to see that there are scores of people who like him wants to see a strong and self sufficient Pakistan whose Passport is respected not ridiculed . If you remember the faces of shareefs on the election day when they went to cast vote they were scared and worried but our leader wasnt worried not before election and not afterwards .

Stay put and be strong its our life its our land and its gonna be our rules In sha allah..We have learn a lot from these elections and I wont say that we will forsure win even next elections but I am sure like anything that a day will come in 5 or may be 10 years when we will get what we want and then there will be no turning back and from there on Pakistan will elevate itself to the most prestigious nation in the world . Have faith in yourself , your dreams and the creator of us all.If you look at the history of Pak since 47, the existence of Pakistan still on the world Map is a miracle in itself owing to the number and strength of our enemies.

Pakistan was made for a reason we are not completely aware of yet but divine forces will guide us the right way once our hearts and minds are clean and clear.

And please change your flags back to Pakistan we need you.:pakistan: need people like you who loves their land unconditionally because they know its the most beautiful place on this planet.Cheer up and put on those glasses which makes you look cool and Pakistan even cooler:cool:

Thanks for your kind words. You have mentioned all of my friends too, i know why. I will leave the battle for Pakistan's liberation to you guys, i may choose to watch from outside. May your efforts change the fortunes of Pakistan's poor, mine didn't and that has left a hole in my heart.

Yaar koi banda @VCheng ko email karo...his now correct predictions are buzzing in my head.

@Awesome You inspired me,but i think we just fought a lost battle...maybe im just morally corrupt to regret even fighting.

As human beings we must recognize our limitations. Koi bhi banda 100% change nahi laa sakta. Change comes through sustaining the effort to change. The word Jid-o-Jahd, is a combo of Jiddat and Jihad, i.e. New/Effort and Struggle... where effort is a short term burst to an overall struggle.

Towards this tabdeeli, we have put in an effort and gotten SOMEWHERE. Till our end we would have gotten farther. Next generation will come and take up the struggle with their new efforts.

As you said in your other post, we were wrong expecting it will be a fair play, we were wrong expecting there will be no / less rigging, we were wrong believing on CT Govt and ECP and we were wrong that change will be brought via Ballot Box. Apart from all the things happened during this elections, there are numerous deficiencies inside our party's organization, which are only highlighted during these elections, our party's structure was newly born and wasn't put to test. Notice where is Abdul Aleem Khan, the president of Lahore, these days when people are on roads in Lahore to protest? We brought a new system which is good overall, but there are small holes in it which needs to be fixed. We've tested our system and we've found the issues. Our captain is a fighter and he'll fight to repair the damage done by these holes. PTI needs time to get matured, we have a plant ready to flourish, let it become a tree and we'll start getting its fruits very soon. We did blunders on election day and we paid for it, we should accept it and start repairing these things instead of just loosing hope. We have to now prepare for worst case scenario for next elections.

@VCheng tells bitter reality bluntly, that's why he is considered Anti-Pak,

Anyway - dude, nobody was saying that PTI will clean sweep other than PTI's die hard fans, IMHO - when different surveys predicted that rural areas are going to vote PML-N, instead of calling them paid surveys, PTI should have focused on those area. Anyway - don't look that glass is half empty, it's half full. For me - a party who was considered joke till 2010 gained 25% vote even after rigging and despite that they were absent from 2 provinces and many seats of Punjab. Today, people are challenging MQM in Karachi, goons in Lahore & Islamabad, today people are questioning family limited parties and Bhutto legacy which nobody could have imagined couple of years ago. It's beginning of new era. PTI should focus now on all Pakistan and should emerge as true national party with support from every street of Pakistan. No doubt PTI has worked hard but not hard enough to overthrow the system which has deep roots in society.

Be proud that you are one of those people who challenged rotten system and change your flags back.

Elections are never 100% fair anywhere-much less in Pakistan. There were serious questions about JFK's win in Chicago Illinois (1960) and George W. Bush's win in Florida (2000) but in each case the opponents chose to back down in the larger interest of the country.

I think the pre-poll rigging that prevented ANP, PPP and MQM from freely campaigning in three provinces is much more significant than the rigging claims in a small number of polling stations, less than 10% as reported by international observers from EU. But, in spite of this, ANP and PPP have gracefully accepted their defeat.

I hope the rigging claims in Pakistan are peacefully resolved by re-polling in affected polling stations where there is solid evidence of irregularity.

It's not in Pakistan's or any of the political parties' best interest to plunge the country into yet another crisis. I hope sanity prevails here. Leaders like IK need to play a role here to calm the situation.

Taya ji,if we had been defeated in a fair fight, it wouldn't have been so painful. Had the fight been fair, and PTI had been wiped out completely, i would have happily accepted it. The problem with my pain, is not defeat but injustice.

@Aeronaut we all are feeling same...but I assure you that we will not give up...and just imagine PTI won elections in kpk despite of all that rigging and mockery of EC rules....
If Allah wills to make IK our next prime minister then no force will stop him......look at the progress we got....I remember 4 years before we didn't even knew about PTI thing..but mashallah such an excellent progress we made while working hard...
now enough despair.....
we have to do a lot of work in kpk and prove ourselves better than any other...we need to create that impression that despite PTI is a novice party..it can make excellent decisions..!!!

Mark my words baby brother, the road to good governance in KPK will be littered with minefields planted by the central govt in Islamabad headed by a man with a hair transplant. They are seasoned khilaris of this field, they have thought of it already, just wait until this notanki unfolds.

Very true, but there can be no greater litmus test of PTI in the real world of politics, which includes all types of dirty games.

If PTI can succeed in KPK despite the tricks of the central government, then they are ready for bigger and better things.
