A new video showing anti-Pakistan activists protesting in Muzaffarabad -- the headquarters of Azad Jammu & Kashmir -- has emerged online.
The protest was staged on 22 October, which is observed as 'the Black Day' to commemorate Pakistan's invasion of the princely state of Kashmir in 1947.
Last month, another video showing Pakistan's brutality in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) area had gone viral. The video showed people protesting against the government in Azad Kashmir regions such as Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli.
Senior government sources had reportedly said the "veil which the Pak Army and ISI had put" over the region has been lifted and the "real and horrific consequences" of Pakistani occupation has been revealed to the outside world.
Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had proposed a four-point peace initiative for India that included demilitarising Kashmir, renouncing the use or threat of use of force, withdrawal from Siachen Glacier and formalising ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC).
India, however, rejected Sharif's "peace initiative" saying that de-terrorising Pakistan is the answer, not demilitarising Kashmir.
