There are more churches only in Karachi than there are mosques in whole of Italy.

this list is incomplete. For example it doesn't even talk about churches in my city

There are about 1700 mosques in UK but when you go to wiki you will only be able to see list of few mosques... same is the case for Pakistan where it is impossible to list the name of churches on a single page

There is a temple just 3 minutes walk from my home in Pakistan and a church about 5 minutes on motorbike (15-20 minutes walk). Some of the best schools in Pakistan are considered to be running inside Churches and some of my Muslim cousins also studies in a Cathedral / School. When I asked them the reason so they boasted calling it the best school in their area and the only difference with Christian students is that, they learn about Christianity and we are taught about Islam in the subject of Religious studies besides that the whole literature is same. Every teacher in the School is Christian as per him and being administered by the Church

The worst thing Islamists can do to other people is not bombing them or shooting them, but it is turning them into their mirror image.

We have seen this in India. It is unjustified. Closing down illegal mosques is a duty, but a blanket ban is not cool. I am sure it affects Hindus too.

India should tell the super vocal and always crying Catholic Church in India, to use their good offices in Vatican to highlight this issue.

If anyone in muslim countries stop someone from worshiping in churches or temples then that is as condemn-able as Italy banning construction of mosques.

The Vatican has no power over italian legislation. And no, Hinduism is recogniced as religion in Italy, so the law does not affect Hindusim. Not sure how many Hindus we have though. Maybe a few thousands.

This is our nation. We make the rules. Muslims are a very small minority in Italy. How many catholic churches do you have in Pakistan amigo?

You have the wrong idea that you can be evrywhere on this earth. No you cant. You are a guest in Italy and i expect guests to behave like guests.

If i visit Pakistan i assure you i would follow your laws and customs. And i expect the same from you in my nation.

one is 100m away from my home. we got them in every major city. infact we plan 1 when ever we start any big project.

well, we live in not so nice times. There is alot of chaos in the world. I deeply believe that the protection of our nation is the most important task we have to follow. Italy is a christian nation. Eryone who comes here has to accept this. We have 8 mosues and those can be monitored easily.

We are also a democracy. The majority of italians wants it that way. The will of the people has to be respected.

we have over a million christians in Pakistan and this is why we need to ban or restrict Christian worship or churches

why are we building a hindu temple in islamabad for example

which is impossible to get since Islam is not recognized to be a official religion in Italy. Thats the trick. That way its not discrimination and in accordance with our constitution.
