I am in Turkey Izmir right now. The vast majority of Turks in this part of the world know little about Pakistan. The people in Izmir that I have met aren't hostile towards Pakistan. The person you met must have been some self loathing libturd. What I have noticed in various parts of Turkey is the same division we see in Pakistan among liberals and religious folks. Often the various Turks have disagreements and arguments on who is right wrong.
What we saw on Twitter was an engineered campaign by a handful of right-wing nationalist libturds. I don't see a glimpse of anti-Pakistan hatred in Turkey.
Well a few things. I already knew Turkey is like the average Muslim country. Divided between the conservative rural classes and urban liberal classes.
The same is true for Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia and just about every other Muslim country. So there's nothing new there.
Only libturd Turks want to believe that their rural majority does not exist. They preach their country to be "secular" while most upper class Muslims from other countries acknowledge their religious rural class.
The Europeanized upper class of Turkey are known as the "white Turks" in contrast to the "black turks" who are religious and non-Westernized.
The white Turks are commonly found on the Western coast of Turkey. Even if Izmir as a city is not necessarily anti-Pakistan, you'll still find the anti-Pakistan libturd white turks from areas like Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya etc.
They are basically the Turkish version of Persian monarchists or Indian upper class Brahmanists whom claim India to be one of the "richest countries in the world."
We had an Iraqi Kurdish tenant living in our house whom left in March and he lived in Turkey for years before moving to Canada. He claimed people from the western coast of Turkey are some of the most brainwashed delusional types.
