Another retired army men as head of govt institute

Another retired army men appointed PSB chairman so now once again both top most sports organization of Pakistan POA (Pakistan Olympic Association Gen Arif Hasan) & PSB (Pakistan Sports Board Col Asif Zaman) has retired army men at top. Same drama is going on since Musharraf era (I don't have knowledge before it). So if someone ask why Pakistan is not doing well in Sports then its these INCOMPETENT retired army men who are responsible for it. They might be very well competent in their own field but in particular to sports; their dismal performance is in front of every one.
Lets see how long admins let this thread live.

Politicians always find a way to remove the educated person heading an organization only to be b****slapped by Generals who happily take their place without a peep from parliament.

If the parliament is feeling brave, they should push for legislation making it illegal for retired Fauji's to occupy a seat on such positions. Alas they are ball-less and are hand in glove with the military seeking their favors for the next voting cycle.

Pakistan has so much talent in football and yet we are a nobody on international stage. Reason is these corrupt assholes, retired and civilians, put in charge by successive governments.

No passion for the sport, no love for the country and no honor in these assholes. This is just a job for them that their buddy got them. And the best part is no one even asks a question during or after their employment. No wonder so many institutes have gone to shit in this dear country of ours.

The reason is Govt controlling institutes... It is a copy/paste of colonial system, where a young britisher can come and be appointed as chairman/head of a department.

The rule instead should be, natural growth and only employee can head an organisation. Not that, the ministry is appointing chairman/president for WAPDA, NBP, PIA, etc.. I means think of it what wd happen to army, if CAS is appointed by the ministry with electrical/finance background.

Only PIA person can lead PIA, and NBP person can lead NBP, same goes for PTV, railway, etc

Col sb is just appointed at PSB. For a long period of time PSB was ruled by Gen. Akram Sahi who still rule the athletics federation. Gen Arif Hasan of POA is serving fourth term where as per law he can be elected only twice but these "dictators" change rule which favor them. And he is their as far as I can remember probably around 1.5 decade.

All of the great football talent that is going to waste in balochistan, karachi, kpk, gb, and everywhere else in pakistan is utterly shameful. We could have made a name in football playing in addition to football making. But the greed, corruption, nepotism, personal rivalries in addition to the lack of grounds and proper training have devasted pakistani football. We even lose to those that don't even deserve to be called nations.

I request everyone to go Dr fehmeeda mirza Twitter @DrFMirza and ask why a retired army men is preferred over someone who whold degree in sports sciences and served in same decipline for 20-30 years.
Sports ministry is under inter provincial harmony whose minister is doctor fehmeeda mirza.
It's for Pakistan. How long we will let incompetent to be SELECTED. How long Pakistan will suffer for out of merit appointments.

That is different. SBP mustn't be privatised.... but yes, it should be independent.. free from political influence... the currency control by own people is vital.
