Let me tell you I have seen many election campaigns and I will admit I have been fooled many times. I do not support family affairs in politics but I do see a change coming in the near future of Pakistan. The reason being our young generation is very smart and properly educated. Unlike the generation that got destroyed when schools were nationalized in the 70's and their funding cut instantly. Some of them ended up abroad and finished education there but never returned to Pakistan because 80's were worse and 90's and 2000's even more.
Things changed in the current tenure of PMLN in a surprising way during last four years because there was progress. Mostly because of the strategic location of Pakistan and the timing was right but nonetheless it should not stop at any cost. I seriously believe that Imran Khan is being used by foreign funding to stop this progress so I am against him.

Has economic progress stopped PPP and PML-N from propping up Bilawal Bhutto, Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Sharif for leadership roles within their party? It hasn't. Then on what basis do you claim things have changed? The old guard is still doing things the old way, i.e., transferring leadership through testicles.

There is nothing strategic going on here. There is a lot of liquidity in the markets due to historic low interest rates hence there is a rush to invest in big infrastructure projects. America, under Obama, did it via
ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) in 2009. China is essentially doing the same with Belts and Road project except at a far greater scale.
The real question here is: Does investing in large infrastructure projects imply there is a shift underway in the political structure of Pakistan? Absolutely not.
Again, on what basis are you conflating economic progress with political structure? Your remarks were towards Imran Khan as a person to which my response is Imran Khan will be leave and someone who isn't related to him will replace him but can one say the same about PPP and PMLN? No one will because we all see Bilawal Bhutto, Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Sharif are being propped up for leadership roles within their party and their only talent is that they came out of the right testicle. They won't be consider leadership material if they came out of your testicles. This isn't a recipe for governing a nation of 200 million.

Whether you agree with his views or not, Imran is largely consistent with what he says in public and private. This is in stark contrast with what other leaders were saying in public and private at the time. Those Wikileaks cables are also online though I'm not going to post them here because that is besides the point I'm making which is that Imran will leave PTI because PTI is not a family dynasty where leadership is transferred through scrotum. And no you cannot user economic progress as a cover.
