People need to understand "nepotism". Nepotism implies giving an "undeserving" person a certain responsibility because of some personal agenda.

The following is the exact phrase from wikipedia
"Nepotism is a common accusation in politics when the relative of a powerful figure ascends to similar power seemingly without appropriate qualifications."

I would have no problems in cases for e.g.,

a> Maryam nawaz sharif had 20-30 years experience in poverty reduction related NGOs and a PhD in a related field to become the head of BISP.

b> Najam Sethi had been the captain on 1992 world cup team.

The narrow understanding of the concept of nepotism by patwaaris is that no one in the family upto cousin level despite their qualifications should ever get a govt. post or govt contract or anything related to govt.. This is wrong. Merit should be the criteria, without merit if you hire someone it is nepotism for example maryam nawaz and najam sethi.

This is just propaganda, a news for urdu reading people by urdu reading news journalists,

LRH has no such position as "chairman", the hospital is Sarkari and it has MS running it.

what PTI govt is doing is that it has set up a team from SKMCH to make LRH independent of bureaucracy, which is there for consultancy purposes, they are working with the administration of the hospital to make it independent to do its functions, without interference of the government/bureaucracy.

we should not politicize every issue, all the haters, we all are going to end up our lives in the very hospitals, so lets hope that they are in better condition then, when we reach there... dont forget Allah ko hisab bhe dena hae!
