I am afraid the stage are set, and it could lead to Nuclear war. As you said, Indian foreign policy backfired badly, and likely to find itself isolated very soon by gambling on the fragile bargaining chip that every nations are trying to avoid.

In desperation, you cannot trust sane mind of India that appears to be lowering than animals in IQ. Of course, public will lap it up. War will be final call in last resort if all else fails.

Yes...This habit of playing the oaf is rather tiresome. Reminds me of the childhood game where you hit someone on the head and then look the other way, having a quiet chuckle.
