Pakistan has had more years under dictatorship than democracy. So I definitely do not think that statement is true. Pakistan does not have deep rooted democratic traditions such as those in India.
We can debate this to death, I just don't think you will come out winning this one.

Please don't ever called India a democracy. That would make people prefer dictatorship if India is a democracy. Call it castocracy or whatever. Because India today is not the result of democracy. Or India would be better off without democracy.
